Mahayana Tulum Beach Homes - 77780 Tulum

We had an amazing time at Mahayana. We rented out the entire property for our wedding in Tulum. The houses are all so nice, clean, and newly renovated. There is so much space both inside the houses and throughout the property itself. The two pools were amazing to have we spent so much time in the new front pool during the day while enjoying the sun and beach. There was plenty of lounging space for all the guests for beach access and it was so fun using all the water sports provided. The entire staff was so friendly and hardworking. The grounds and houses are cleaned daily. We felt so safe the entire time but there is security on the property which was nice. We spent time getting to know the owner Guy when he was on site and is such a great person. The property hosts Chabely and Alma were so kind and helpful and were available at all times. They were able to accommodate any needs that we had throughout our stay. The property was perfect for our wedding as well. We had a 60 guest wedding on the property and it was so intimate and romantic and everything that we had hoped for. We would highly recommend Mahayana and we cannot wait to come back <3

Chabley was a huge help. I didn't realize that we would have someone to help us with questions during the trip and I'm so glad that we did. Just one text away! She provided us with recommendations, car rental info, and checked in with us daily to make sure we were comfortable. A few tips: - Do a dinner with Chef Irma the first night. It's nice to just relax at the house after a day of traveling and grocery shopping (Chedraui). - Cabs into town are ready to catch (170 pesos) but it was much easier to rent a van from Hertz. Most places are walkable, but not for 11 people. - The entire family loved Posada Margarita so make sure to go! They don't take reservations, but there are a lot of tables. Make sure to get the first pasta. - For the adults, I would recommend walking up and down the beach and exploring Be Tulum and Casa Madre. They are gorgeous! But like Guy said, you must have fun. Oh! And feed Shakira.

Came here for our friends wedding. Had the entire complex. It was great. Fun having the bulk of your friends in one location. Great beachfront location. Pool was great. Rooms were really nice as well. Nice and central to a number of dining options.

Nice houses, good location, but the management lack of flexibility amend the experience. One of the biggest issue we encountered is that for the very 1st time in a Vacation Rental, and an expensive one with premium high price, there are no laundry machine, hum, they have but you can t use it. You need to send your laundry outside x 48h00 so no way. It s the same for the car park they have it but for the owner exclusive use...overall these are issues you are not keen to cope with when you pay that kind of price. Pass your way, this place doesn t deserve any customership, the service is terrible (low) and the management is snobbish, rigid there s much better in Tulum. Walk away!

Hidden Gem ~ Romantic, Private, Beachfront & So Close to the Ocean If you are looking for a romantically beautiful, private, beachfront house to rent then Casa Gaia is what you have been dreaming of. It is a charmingly designed new beach house with the best location I have seen in Tulum. It has a stunning view which can be seen from anywhere in the house (even the lovely shower). We enjoyed the most tranquille nights with the doors wide open, letting in the ocean breezes (no bugs!) and falling asleep to the lulling sound of waves. The deck off the front is literally overlooking the ocean so that is all you see. It is surprisingly private as it opens up to the powdery beach and gin blue ocean but it is situated so that the surrounding lush foliage prevents anyone from being able to see your deck or inside. One of the best things about staying on the beach is having access to one of the worlds most stunning beaches to lounge on or walk along as you like. We loved going for long walks without having to carry anything as well as coming and going from our own private lounge furniture and pergola. I also appreciated the option of rinsing off in the outdoor shower after an ocean swim or having a shower in our house before heading off for lunch. It is short walking distance from amazing restaurants or you could enjoy the convenience of your own well appointed kitchen for mixing up cocktails or preparing fresh fruit to enjoy throughout the day. You will definitely want to get out and enjoy the world class culinary scene Tulum has to offer and this house is perfectly situated to do just that. If it is nightlife you are looking for, Tulum has a rich music scene and so many beautiful venues to enjoy. The house and grounds are secure, immaculately kept, owned and managed by the most accommodating people who are excellent for steering you in the right direction for restaurants, adventures or goings on.

I have stayed in many places in Tulum and this is truly the top. You are in the very best location in your own private villa that is designed so beautifully. The staff is incredible and they can arrange anything you need. Private chef, massage, yoga and more. You also have your own private area under picture perfect palms to take in the crystal clear blue sea that made Tulum so famous. There are complimentary bikes, water sports and you are located so close to the best food and other activities in the area. Absolutely amazing place.

Love this place! Staff is great, just steps from the water. The villas are beautifully designed and is located in the prime location of the beach
