★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mama Lucia's is on the way to Eden -where you can take a picture in the jungle! Next to a cool helicopter used in the movie Predator! This lovely Tequileria gives you a tour of their facility with explanations of how tequila is carefully crafted from the plant to the bottle! I found their Reposado to be most tasty! And their Almond and Nuez liquors to be to most delicious! Have fun!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our tour host, Benjamin, was great! He shared the fascinating history of transforming the succulent blue agave plant into a potent spirt. He also showed us the process they use onsite to make their small-batch, craft tequila. Then we got to sample the spirits. #Salud

I don't usually drink tequila, but at least now I know how.
As someone else said, don't leave without a bottle. Well worth the trip out of town.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our family really enjoyed this beautiful an tranquil spot in the village of Mismaloya. The family who run this craft distillery is lovely and provided a great tour of the tequila making process. Our guide shared a number of fun stories about this family business. We tasted several types of their product and ended up bring back three bottles of excellent quality tequila.
