Maple Leaf Scuba - 77600 San Miguel de Cozumel

The most amazing diving experience!! I went diving for the first time a few days ago, and was quite nervous about the experience. I was paired with Mara for a Discover Scuba Dive. Wow, she was amazing! The whole experience from getting the paperwork sorted to actually being in the water was great and the whole staff is very friendly and kind. I loved the dive so much that I did my Open Water course with Mara the next day. She is incredibly knowledgeable and kind, and I had a wonderful few days getting to dive with her. I will most definitely return to this dive shop for future diving in Cozumel!

I've been here for 5 weeks progressing from Open Water Certification to Divemaster. I love working with everyone at Maple Leaf Scuba- and I hate the days when we have to skip diving due to weather, but I understand "safety first" and Glenda doesn't take any chances on that score. I like how Glenda has me working with several of her instructors so I get a "well rounded" education.

Me and my friends were searching for a school to dive with. We were searching for a place that made us feel 110% safe given that one of us was going to do the “Discovery” experience. We visited a couple of shops in the Island (Cozumel) and were not convinced at all, until we found Maple Leaf Scuba. I was happily surprised how friendly Glenda was and how certain she made me, but especially, my friends (with least experience) feel. She was also very accommodating when it came to payment(s) as our (EU) accounts were not working right away. Maple Leaf Scuba team was also fun so much that I felt convinced to go ahead with the Advanced Open Water and do so with them. My instructor (Louise) made sure that I had a great experience but especially that I felt safe. Do not hesitate to have your experience at Maple Leaf Scuba, you will have a great time, in short, stars review don’t lie.

Spent a few incredible days fun diving with this amazing dive shop. The sites we visited were some of the best I have ever seen - especially Santa Rosa Wall and Palancar Bricks. Thanks so much to Rafaela, Mara, Marta, and all of the lovely and professional staff :)

I did the Open Water course with them and everything was perfect. The places where we dove were top (even the confined waters) The instructor Marta was absolutely amazing. She made me feel 100% confident and relaxed all the time. I enjoyed every single minute of the course. Definitely, the best option to dive in Cozumel.

The owner is from Canada and she is so personable and professional. I did six different dive sites with this company and it was first class service. I enjoyed the two dive masters there that we had Taylor and Louise. The fruit and cake was great. World class diving there with healthy reef. We saw octopus at night, reef teaming with tropical fish, nurse sharks, baby reef sharks , moray eels ans more. My favorite dive was All of them but found Columbia wall a must see. Loved it!!

Great dive shop. The owner, Glenda, was friendly and very accommodating: she rearranged her schedule last minute so i could go diving the next day. Taylor, one of the dive instructors, was fantastic to be around, great vibe, super knowledgeable and made my 4 dives with maple leaf an amazing experience. I highly recommend this shop to anyone and will definitely come back here next time I’m in Cozumel. Thanks again for everything!

Wow what can I say to even describe the experience I had with Maple leaf. First of all Glenda the owner was incredibly personable and friendly, I told her my concerns and she made me feel good about diving after 3 years of inactivity. The whole staff was amazing. The dive master Carmina was literally the best and I cannot recommend her enough, so kind and very professional. Love seeing an establishment run mostly by women, especially in a field typically male dominated. Their equipment was in good shape, and they brought us to some spectacular locations. At one point seeing OVER 8 eagle rays at once, huge coral structures that we swam through, just absolutely gorgeous. The boat crew( I’m sorry I don’t remember names) were fantastic, took care of everything for us and made us feel super safe onboard. I was so impressed that I signed up for a night dive later that evening. Gotta love that the groups were so small, especially considering most dive shops usually take much bigger groups. It was just me and two others! During the night dive we saw 3 octopuses, eels, crabs, lobsters, and lots more. Seriously, thank you for making my time on Cozumel so wonderful, if I ever return I know exactly where to go :))
