★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was delicious! I had the guacamole, mango margarita and seafood mix (casserole). The seafood was fresh and seasoned perfectly. We sat in the sand by the ocean. The sunset was pretty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a good spot on the beach to eat. Friendly servers, clean washrooms and food was decent. Good price on beers and mix drinks.
Biggest down fall…all the fricking sellers and beggars, every minute we had someone bugging us for this or that or hand out for money. Even with the leave us alone signs still a major bother. We would be having a conversation and constantly get interrupted. Same sellers too would keep coming back, even after telling them we are not buying anything. Literally turned me off from wanting to come back.

We (wife n 13 yr old) visited this restaurant almost everyday for dinner in a week. We loved the food? open atmosphere and live music. Service is awesome. The best dish that we loved is the Charcoal Grilled fish. One of the best!! If you like your food to be spicy then have then add the Mulata sauce...yummy! I highly recommend this restaurant, must try.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A good restaurant in Bucerias on the beach. The food is usually pretty good and compared to other beach restaurants the prices are reasonable. The staff are mostly great and go over the top helpful (with one exception and the reason I would not rate 5 stars. There is one server that is constantly rude, doesn't allow us sit on the beach, and will take a ridiculous amount of time to serve us, and then will complain about a 10% tip). Overall we do recommend Mar y Sol but I encourage people to try the other restaurants on the beach as well.
