The best fish tacos we had, both the grilled and fried fish are excellent. The (hot!!) onion salsa was so good we asked for the recipe. Wow. Will be back.

Very slow and rude service. the most miserable marlin tacos I've ever tasted. They try to cover the small portions with salad. I don't recommend it or plan to return.

Living in Sayulita, we try different places to eat all the time. Have eaten here a few times and always Great Food. The burritos are the "Best" in town!

Best meal in Sayulita, hands down. Got the red snapper plate, tortilla soup, fish tacos, and guacamole. Guac was prefect - tons of lime, not mushy, not too salty. Tortilla soup was richly flavored and not all thick with tortilla, more brothy and medium bodied. The fish was served whole, fried, with black beans, rice, and steamed veggies. The green salsa was incredible on the fish. I ate more than I thought I could but felt amazing and danced all night later. Whole meal was $20. It looks humble and is not on the main strip so that's probably why you don't see so many reviews. BYOB

I don't know what's wrong with Sayulita and the service... They didn't let me use a table, because I was alone. Nobody else was waiting for table and they had two big tables empty. I don't understand where they learned about service... If you want to have a cheap breakfast, this could be a place ;) The coffee costed $15 pesos, less than a dollar and the prepared eggs $65 pesos. The portions aren't too big, just pretty normal, but the place is clean and the staff is servicial.

Stopped in for a late night supper: a plate FULL of FRESH mahi mahi, vegetables, frijoles y arroz... AND the BEST Margarita I'd been served all week. Open 8:00 a.m. for delicious breakfasts till 10:00 p.m. for amazing yet inexpensive dinners. Gracias, Mariscos Purillos??

The guacamole was excellent, but everything else was disappointing. Ceviche was fishy and powdery, like something out of a can. Chili relleno was also soggy and boring, and covered in a sauce that was ferociously salty. The rice was all wrong too. I'm pretty familiar with this dish, and I'd give it a sad "D" grade. Bean and cheese burritos for the kids were disappointing, and again the rice was reminiscent of "Uncle Ben's". The jamaica drink was only red and sweet. No sourness or flavor. Unfortunately, the guacamole cannot redeem the failures of everything else on the menu. Avoid this restaurant until they can improve their food.
