Absolutely saddened and disappointed by this 4-day stay. 1. Hot water inconsistent! Despite the numerous excuses, found out that the hotel cannot keep up with the demand. So make sure you take your shower early in the morning and before you go out for the night. 2. The picture that is shown is far from what it looks like. The rooftop is not open for services. It is a sad and unappealing place to stay. 3. The elevator doe not go up to the rooftop. You have to get off the floor below and walk-up. 4. Internet is strong but inconsistent. The recommendation is to switch to another room and use the same passcode. It is a real pain to use their internet. 5. The room is so small that there is not even a place to pour your water into the coffee maker. You have to hold the coffee maker on one hand and balance the other one to pour water in it. 6. Only a few rooms have a balcony and a view outside. Most of them are looking at a construction tarp or the view open into the corridor of the hotel. 7. Despite being less than 1 year old, the conditions look old and in disrepair. My handle on the dresser is already fallen off. 8. Keep promising the ice machine will be fixed. No ice for the entire stay. The machine looks like it is broken for a long time. 9. The wall are paper thin. The hairdryer in one room can be heard on the ENTIRE floor. 10. 7:45 am, constructions below in the basement started banging and chiseling! Very sad and disappointing experience!

Unfortunately we have to agree with earlier comments. The deluxe king rooms don't have a balcony and are VERY dark (no sunlight, window faces a wall around 1.5 meters away), the bathroom has seen better days. You can hear every noise from the lobby. Staff is friendly but overall it's too expensive.

The room unfortunately had no daylight and we didn’t had the possibility to dry any of our stuff. So the room got smelly after a few days an the internet was really bad. Apqrt from that the room was cleaned frequently and it was an okay stay :)

Room with a window to the inside of the building. Feel like being trap in a cave. Expensive for quality and compared to prices of other local hotels. Wifi is unstable. We heard all the noices coming from other floors. This booking ruined our trip.

Great price. Good location and aesthetic. Room was small, walls sounded paper thin, room didn't have a view (depends on the room and they warn you when you book), and the bed could've been more comfortable, but, for the price, this was a solid stay.

The room we got (101) was really clean and spacious, well designed. We had a balcony with a view towards the street. Had a few issues though, that's why only 3 stars: 1. The internet was unreliable, was either too slow or losing connection so we had to try to connect to other room's wifi. 2. We didn't have hot water from time to time - usually late in the evening, when we said this to the receptionist he said he can send someone tomorrow. Having hot water is a top priority for any hotel. To their credit, he solved it that night when we were back, but only after he saw we got upset with this. 3. We wanted to extend for another night but they said they can't give us the same room for one more night because the place is full, they offered us number 10, which was their backup room, but it's nowhere near as good as 101, it's small, overlooking a ramp going to the basement level, no hairdryer, bathroom is ventilated mechanically unlike 101 which had windows - and they insisted that it has the same price as the others, which was 1300 pesos total tax included, we protested but eventually accepted because trying to find another place and carrying our bags to the new hotel for one more night was too much trouble and we came here to relax. Also the room 10 is a bit noisy since it's just in front of the ground floor elevator, the sanitary piping is in the wall of the room so you can hear anyone flushing their toilet, and some ACs are running just in front of the window making additional noise

Hotel is beautiful. We had the 2 bedroom suite and it was perfect. The location couldn't be any better. However, it was noisy. Sounded like the staff arrived every morning around 7:30 and whatever they were doing sounded like moving furniture followed by loud bangs. The wifi rarely worked and the elevator was down and we were on the 5th floor. Other than those issues, it was great!!

It was nothing like we expected. The photos are nowhere near what it looks like. The place is close to the fifth avenue but not to the busiest places, so you do have to walk at least five blocks- 7 min- to start getting to the cool places. The street it’s on is kinda lonely so you don’t feel exactly safe when getting to the hotel. As for the amenities, the pool was supposed to be in maintenance so you couldn’t use it. Everyday it was so noisy because they were doing some construction, and you can also hear everything from the halls. The elevator stopped working, one day there was no water in the rooms, and honestly for what you pay the room is so tiny and has no fridge, the ac is so hard to make it work. We were so disappointed with this hotel. I brought a foreigner to meet playa del carmen and honestly this place didn’t live up to his expectations, nor mine.
