Well they lost a loyal customer today. I spilled my entire iced latte all over myself and my open wallet, started crying because I am already having a terrible day and they wouldn’t replace my latte - they said I would have to pay for a new one. Nice customer service - well I am never coming back here again.

Coffee was expensive, but good (120 pesos for 2 small black coffees). The price is not an issue- I knew what I ordered. The problem is when I paid with card, they entered a 20% tip for me and said "144 pesos is that OK?". That puts customers in a very awkward spot morally. You be the judge of whether or not that's a fair business practice.

Such a sweet little cafe. The coffee and breakfast were delicious and in such a cute atmosphere. Definitely will return. Also there’s a very cute bulldog that lives nearby that comes by to visit!

Guys- you’re on vacation. You can do much better than here. You owe it to yourselves. The good: the only spot in this area open early in the morning serving hot coffee and food. The bad: the food and service. It attached photo looks good but trust me, it was just ok. The coffee is great and much needed for our group. The food was overpriced basic items made to be “elevated” but with poor ingredients. The toasts are all on a “charcoal activated” slice of sourdough. The bread is room temperature and hard enough where fork and knifing can be a struggle. This might work better if they actually toasted the bread fresh on order. The croissant is not a flaky buttery croissant. It’s thick and a lot of dough and really chewy. Also served cold/room temp. There’s an item called a “Croffle” - a waffle croissant that sounded interesting - of which I asked for one, plain, and they gave me a regular croissant. The waitress apologized and said she didn’t understand me so instead of asking me to clarify she just brought out what she thought. We later saw them making an actual “croffle” and it turns out they just put a croissant on a waffle press. Go figure. for your reference: 1000 pesos ($60USD) got me 4 coffees, 2 toasts, 2 croissants and a yogurt bowl.

Cute little cafe that’s great if you live close by and need some caffeine and a quick morning bite (Especially since there’s nothing else directly around in this developing part of La Veleta). Coffee drinks were all good and nice selection of avo toasts served on charcoal bread. I got the Mexican toast which had a delicious sauce poured on top with a bit of a kick which I love some heat and the gf got the Tavacado toast which had a ton of avocado. Our toast was too toasted (a bit dry, but that’s our personal preference) but other than that, very tasty! The women were all very friendly with great service!

My friend and I loved this place! In fact we loved it so much we came back 3 times. It became our regular breakfast/brunch spot during our stay in Tulum. Food and service is outstanding and really high quality, the decor is beautiful and modern, the ambience is chilled. The staff are very friendly and make the effort to chat to you, find out where you’re from etc. I highly recommend Me Caffe Latte.
