★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very large covered market filled with local goods, produce, and food. It's very busy and crowded both inside and right outside. The outdoor area has a number of haphazardly constructed stalls leaning onto the main building giving off a kind of chaotic impression. The indoor area is fairly clean and well organized with stalls being thematically grouped for the most part. Lots of food, mezcal, clothes, and knick-knacks. most of it looks like it is locally made. Definitely worth visiting .

Scotty MacReeves bought a nice bag for his mom and some lovely masks for his kids. There are tons of stalls where you can purchase the best local produce and meats, breads, cheeses, coffee, mezcal, mole, you name it. Not to mention textiles, pottery, clothing and many more artisanal

20 de noviembre. The mercados practice covid safety protocols, with staff checking your temp and offering hand sani or portable sink w/ soap and water as you enter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went into the place with the meats and people were rude AF. They were very aggressive in getting attention. Then sitting down, they kept telling us to move. One person said that he told us to move because one of the 2 of us did not buy a drink. Outside of the meat area, the people were fine.
