I had such an amazing time. My Son In Law and Son made all of the arrangements for a surprise Birthday Adventure. And it was a true adventure. The drive back to the location alone was beautiful. Ali was fantastic on making this first time experience enjoyable. She explained everything Perfectly and with humor. You can see that she loves her profession and she is great at it. Her love for the cuisine just penetrates through out the entire class. Personally, I learned much about Mexican cooking. As my Son said to me, “ here you go, you are Mexican and making your first Authentic Meal ever.......and in Mexico”. I had such a great time, had to laugh at myself because I had just spent a nice chunk of change on new cookware and here all I needed were clay pots.....Go Figure! Now I am searching for Authentic Clay Pots for cooking! Thank you Ali @ Mexico Lindo! I will always remember this experience and hope to be back again soon!

We LOVED this cooking class. We've taken classes several places we have traveled (Vietnam, Thailand, Montreal) and this was the best one. CristĂłbal was a great teacher. He is very knowledgable about cooking methods and about the foods/food culture of the area - which he was excited to share and did so in a way that was interesting and welcoming. It is easy to tell he loves cooking/food/culture. We had a great time making tamales (the best ones we've ever eaten and we are from California so have eaten lots of tamales), home made tortillas, soup, salsas, guacamole, and so much more. Really enjoyed tasting chocolate right from the bean and learning about/tasting tequilla. Classes are small (ours was 6 - I think the max is 8). This makes for an intimate group and lots of time to ask questions and get the benefit of CristĂłbal's knowledge, passion, and skill - he has all in abundance!

Chef Alejandra was fantastic! The 2 of us had a private class with her because another couple cancelled. My favorite part of the cooking class for me was some cooking theory that helped my overall cooking skills. She taught the "why" behind what she was doing (if you ask questions too and stay involved it gets even better). She also took us to our destination after the class because she was traveling that way. What a great person who lives with some lovely principles. Enjoy!

Grandma, daughter and granddaughter (22 yrs.) all took the Mexican Antojito Cooking class and thoroughly enjoyed it! Chef Cristobal spoke excellent English and discussed the various regions of Mexico and what dishes, products they are known for. He talked about the cacao plant and how cocoa is produced and we sampled delicious hot chocolate and Mexican coffee. A few dishes our class of six people made are green tamales, corn tortillas, chicken tikka, quesadillas, flan and more. All our dishes turned out soooo delicious. My daughters and I agreed that was the highlight of our trip to Puerto Morelos.

A wonderful experience! We were here for a bachelorette party and had a really good time cooking together. It was wonderful to learn about the country, the heritage, and the ease of cooking really good food. Highly recommend enjoying the jungle with some new friends and refining cooking techniques.

Hands down the best experience you will have. Chef Alejandra was amazing. She is not only a great person to share stories and experiences but a great chef and teacher. All recipes she showed us were very simple but tasted fantastic. This is the most authentic experience and food you can and will have. They are also very accommodating if you have dietary restrictions as long as you let them know ahead of time.

This was the best experience of our 8-day Holiday in Mexico. We stepped away from the resort life and jumped right into the local authentic kitchen. Chef Alejandra was a pleasure to learn from and answered our questions to make us understand how the flavors mesh, compliment and balance properly. Having lunch at the end of the course that we prepared with her guidance was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Will return next time we are here. Thank you!
