★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a small family run business on its fifth generation. It was very close to Oaxaca and just off of a main road so we decided to take a look. Two of the family members took the time to educate and show us where each part of the process took place. Planting, processing, cooking, fermentation and distillation all right there!
Afterwards we tasted several varieties, many of which we didn't even know existed. We walked out of that place with 8 bottles knowing we weren't going to find any better at home. 10 days in southern mexico and we didn't find any better mezcal elsewhere down there either. If you're in Oaxaca for even a day its well worth a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved this place!!! If you are looking to get some mezcal info and not go crazy far out of town, this is it. The people were so kind. They even made sure I got on the right bus going back. Lovely mezcal to taste and buy. You can msg on whatsapp to find out when you can do a tour in English. Otherwise always avail in Spanish.
