Like many people, the year 2020 brought disruption (good and bad) to my life. So, I was ready to breathe fresh energy into my beautiful, but old Puerto Vallarta vacation condo. Although I had a desired style in my head, I needed assistance bringing that vision to life. While quarantined in NY, I stumbled upon Mikel Bowman Interiors' website and immediately felt drawn to his aesthetic. During our initial consultation, he was personable, transparent about his design process/time-line, budget and listened to my requests. When I walked into the renovated space for the first time, I was so elated with the new look! Mikel and his team did an AMAZING job re-creating a space where the look and feel not only embodies my unique character, but evokes a sense of tranquility, openness and natural beauty. In addition to the kitchen, my bedroom was a large focal point of this process. The newly designed wooden doors, platform bed and gorgeous artwork from extremely talented local artists, all create an ecclectic, sensual, classy and relaxing space. To date, I've been living/working in my place for several months (post-renovation) and I'm in love with it! Some days, it's hard to leave for the day because I'm so comfortable in my new oasis. It was an absolute pleasure working with Mikel and his team. Thank you for your dedication, hard work and professionalism!

I only have terrific things to say about my experience with Michael Bowman. I bought an apartment in Puerto Vallarta and did not know where to start. I got a shell. I had no contacts and didn’t know where to even start fixing it up and furnishing it. I can’t remember how I found him but he was a lifesaver in every way. He pulled my place together and created a home. It was an absolute pleasure to work with him. He made a stressful situation pleasurable and we bonded with the project.
