★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My partner and I went to Mingo’s Place for dinner after reading some reviews and we were not disappointed.
We were greeted by Mingo on arrival and had a table in the outdoor courtyard. It is a lovely intimate venue.
We tried a traditional burger, an espanola burger (with Spanish chorizo) and some fries. The burgers were exceptional. Grilled to perfection and served on a soft roll with lettuce and tomato. To drink we had a limonada, a few beers and after our meal a tequila and a baileys.
Mingo chatted with us while we were there and made us feel very welcome.
The food is excellent and it was great value, we will definitely be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mingo’s Place is amazing! We had delicious burgers there & Mingo was telling us he cooks other things upon request, prefers 24 hrs so he can properly marinate. We ordered shrimp ceviche & shrimp fajitas & OH MY we were not disappointed! We have been on the island two weeks & eaten at many great restaurants, but Mingos is our #1! His margaritas are the best & also key lime pie! I could go on & on, but just check it out for yourself, you will NOT be disappointed!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautifully remodeled, very comfortable atmosphere, and the owner is very welcoming and a great guy. I had the Argentina burger and it was one of the best, if not the best, hamburgers I ever had. Mingo has a great collection of tequilas and other liquors, and makes a wonderful margarita. Can’t wait to go back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a must try if on the island. A great hamburger and fries. You can get a traditional burger or something out of the ordinary. I had the Argentinian burger, yep a new favorite. Plus he will cook you your favorites if not on the menu and you give him time to prepare by letting him know in advance. This is a relatively new restaurant on the island so you may not see many reviews but don’t let that sway you from not trying. I will be returning as a repeat customer every time I come back to the island. Cheers to Mingo and his team.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hands down the best burgers, ceviche and margaritas on the island. Mingo is a great guy and took us around to his favorite spots. He also cooked some special dinners for us which were incredibly delicious! We got to spend some fun time with him and his beautiful wife Olivia. Looking forward to coming back!

It's a little difficult to spot if you're not sure what you're looking for, but definitely is worth it. We will definitely be back very soon!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were recommended this place from a girl we met at the dive shop. There is no sign on the front so you have to know what you're looking for. His menu is mostly burgers and fries but, after talking to Mingo, the owner, he'll make steaks, lobsters, pasta, almost whatever you want. We got a couple of burgers (Hawaiian and a mushroom and bacon burger) with fries, Cokes, and a piece of key lime pie for around $13 US. It was delicious! The ambience is also amazing! It's set in the front patio of Mingo's house and is full of beautiful plants and foliage. There's also great music playing in the background. Mingo came to our table and we talked with him for a bit. He is very nice and seems to be a wonderful man. I highly recommend Mingo's and will definitely eat here again.
