★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This little store in town has most of the staples you need, as well as party basics. Dairy products and chorizo are in the back in a refrigerated display so you have to ask for what you need. They have a few basic veggies and a passable wine/beer and liquor selection. Coffee sold in a brown paper bag is very good. This store keeps a cooler with home made tortillas from the shop down the street. They also have piles of donuts by the front door.
So I find once I get used to the general arrangement of things, I can usually get my basics. For meat and fish you have to go to the carneceria and pescatoria further into town.
