We feel cheated! We rented a house (Palmas, Villa 8), we went the first week of August, it was extremely hot a humid, and many things in the house didn't work: the air conditioning in the living room -the main area of the house-, we called maintenance and they pretended they went to fix it but nothing, on the dining room we could tell the air conditioning wasn't working that well either. All the bathtubs in the rooms didn't work, and unfortunately nobody told us about this, until we got to that villa and discovered all this, we invited a couple of friends, and it was a real embarrassment to hear all this from our guests after we discovered this in the master room as well! We had a particular cleaning lady, she was nice, but cleaned nothing, we also made a mistake when we tried to close the safe in order to put some stuff there, so when we told the cleaning lady she came to the master room, and opened the safe with a key and gave us the comment "don't worry, I always have the key, and can open this all the time in case you forget the numbers" for us was a red flag, how can we trust the safe if there's a key own by the cleaning lady?.... She didn't change towels, unless she saw them on the floor, the feet towel to step on after the shower I had to put it in specific places so she can take it and wash it if not, she always put the same wet dirty towel. She never washed the pool towels, we had to do it ourselves. Most of the light on the terrace/pool area didn't work. We never received soap, or shampoo, or hair conditioning or body lotion, we received one tiny one, and that was it, we stayed there for 7 nights, and when we rented other times we received this daily! Terrible cleaning service, and terrible service to us the client! This is the 4th time we rent a house with MitaResidentials, but this was it, this is the 3rd time we arrive to the house and nobody tells us that -many- things don't work in the house, the former house we rented, also in Las Palmas, had the same problem with the air conditioning, and they charge as if the house was working well. For me the right thing to do was for them to tell us what things are not working in the house and then we decide if we take that house or book another one, or probably a discount on the price. We felt very embarrassed with our friends, and very disappointed with the company. If you decide to rent a house with this deceiving company, first be sure that the house has everything working well, and the cleaning lady that you get cleans properly.. Just be sure that you will get everything they tell!
