DECEPCIONANTE ??
BEWARE... in an effort to support "Mexican enterprises", at the end of February I went directly to the store to try on the lasts and sizes, in addition to checking the models in detail. I was encouraged by 3 totally different pairs, and a month and a half later, the disappointment came. In the red pair, the insole fades terribly... I wouldn't even dream of using them without a foot protector, because they would be a 'little devil' color (I thought that only the first time it would happen... and no, they keep fading). Of the most "eccentric" pair, in the third set the tongue is falling apart. I went to the store to comment on the situation, and they told me that it was "due to use" (in a part where it obviously cannot be damaged due to use, and even less so having only brought them 3 times). The 'solution' they offered me was: "put varnish on them, or leave them 3 months to 'see' what can be done"... no, wow!!! That happens for wanting to trust this type of company. DISAPPOINTING ??

The shoes are very nice, of very good quality and finish, I love the design and the vivid colors, the Valentina model is a little reduced, the shoes are leather, the price vs quality seems excellent, my purchase was the line I never had any problems, my 3 or 4 purchases arrived very quickly.

When I pass through Oaxaca street it is almost obligatory to pass and hit a couple. An extremely good quality and price. Not to mention Mitu's iconic design and range of colours, now with the cafeteria it's more attractive to walk by.

Cute little store. I was unsure if they were open or not as there were no previous reviews nor did the google photo reflect the store. I knew about it because of MiTu Calzado but the store is a joint boutique with Casa Salt. The selection of shoes is somewhat limited to about 20 styles, I would recommend to check online to see if they are your cup of tea. I found the shoes to be of an updated design if not flawless. Super decent prices for shoes made in Mexico at $30-$100. Regular “hipster” tchotchkes otherwise although made in Mexico but same as anywhere else. Super friendly service and as a plus, the capable lady running the shop speaks good English!

Awesome little shop with a sense of humor and great style. It’s an ecclectic mix of fun and unique clothing, shoes, home goods and accessories. I bought a couple of necklaces, a bunch of cool pins and patches and a tiny cactus in a funny handmade pot. My boyfriend got a sweet T-shirt and a hat, and talked me out of an epic knit Tiger rug that does not go with our apartment but someone needs to own.

I love the designs! I had some issues with a pair of sandals and the customer services replied right away. The shoes run small and os great to try them on at the store since I was thinking about buying online.

Lovely shop. Great staff and stylish shoes. If only they came in sizes larger than a Mexican 7 I would have brought 3-4 pairs home with me to Montreal.
