Mivida - 77760 Tulum

This place was a surprise hit for us in Tulum. We went here on a whim, intrigued by the menu. The dining area is situated near the beach, in the back of the adjoining hotel. The ambiance was amazing and beautiful. But the food was the true star. In fact, it was so good we ate here 3 times during our 5 day stay in Tulum. If you're hesitant to eat Italian food in Mexico, don't be. It was phenomenal. The 'Maltagliati con pulpo' and 'Fettuccine a la Pescatora' were delicious. The pasta was handmade, and you can't go wrong with handmade pasta. The paella, surprisingly, was not our favorite thing. It was just ok, nothing special. The tapas were noteworthy, especially the 'pulpo y papas', and the 'tartare de salmon'. Mivida is a treasure in Tulum. Unfortunately it never seemed busy the three times we were there, and that is a true shame. More people should know about this place. We can't wait to come back here some day!

Lovely Restaurant! Very cosy atmosphere and interior. If it is the beach house, or the Room close to the street. Tapas were very good, friendly service.

Very nice little restaurant overlooking the water. Loved our appetizer, but weren't crazy about the paella. I'd definitely go back though and try something else. The setting was just beyond charming. They have lovely, low-key day beds on the beach, perfect for a cocktail and nap afterwards.

The best dishes we had in Mexico was from here. We ordered the steak and it had a WONDERFUL wine and mushroom sauce on it. We ate here two nights in a row. Also the drinks were to die for. All this, coupled with an ocean front view and some peace and quiet was wonderful. This was our favorite restaurant during our stay in Tulum. Elenora was the head bartender/manager, and she had such a wonderful smile and was super nice. Also her drinks were to die for. My wife normally doesn't like pina coladas, however she liked them when Elenora make them.

This is one of my favorite locations in Tulum, it's small quite and my dog likes to run on the small beach and climb the rocks. I will have to come back sometime and get some food and drinks so that I can add to this review. As of right now it's mostly a review of the location. It's a small intimate beach and that is nearly unheard of here in Tulum. It's a wonderful spot to relax and take some photos! The only issue is the water becomes totally inaccessible for large parts of the year due to sargassum being trapped in the small cove. I'll add a photo of that

Amazing food and a great spot for a dinner date! Try the tuna tostadas! ??

The service here was great. Very attentive, on the beach, not over bearing. However, the wine and food were very not great. The wine made my husband and I both feel sick, my pasta was cold, and my husbands potatoes tasted box made. We couldn’t finish the wine we ordered and all the food tasted slightly off. Would not recommend

We came here for breakfast. The food is not spectacular, but good. View is beautiful and there’s a pool that seemed to be open to guests who dine in. Waiter forgot one of our dishes but fixed the mistake very quickly.
