★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I highly recommend Mixteca! Their staff was friendly and clear with us about all rental terms. The price may look cheaper at other car rental agencies, but those other places add on additional fees at the end so don't be fooled. With Mixteca, we paid exactly what we were quoted. We found their policies to be very customer friendly. They have English and Spanish speaking staff and were very responsive via phone and email.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mixteca was literally our Christmas miracle. We had reserved a car from Hertz over a month in advance to make a road trip to Puerto starting on Christmas Eve. Well, hertz botched it and we were in a jam. Mixteca came through (even picked us up from OAX) to bring us to a well maintained little Ford (automatic) that we drove to Puerto. They went above and beyond! 5 stars~ would only rent from them again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice staff, trustworthy and thorough. Only rented for 1 day. Prices are similar to other rental agencies (felt expensive for us but we got similar price quotes at other agencies). They include full insurance coverage in price. Good quality car. Great communication and flexible with our hours for pick up and drop off even though they were outside normal operating hours on a holiday. Recommend :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommend Mixteca - this was our first trip to Oaxaca from Toronto and we were a bit apprehensive about renting a car & finding our way. All of our communication with Mixteca was extremely prompt and they were helpful at every step. We communicated almost exclusively through google translate and it went surprisingly smoothly. Prices are fair based on the research I did (not bargain basement but not gouging and no surprises). Also they didn't charge us for a second driver. They even picked us up from the airport and dropped us off at the end of our trip. The car itself was in great condition and served us well on some challenging roads. Thank you Mixteca !
