★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful monument but alas like most things in a large city it's in need of a little TLC. The graffiti along its base and the trash surrounding the site don't do it much justice. But still a good place to snap a few pictures.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are interesting landmarks like this al over Mexico City. This one is easily accessible for getting photos. Be aware, you may not be able to go right up to it. When we visited it was fenced off due to recent vandalism and protests in the city which has affected many of these monuments.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great place to buy edibles and pre rolled joints. I think it's fairly new to CDMX but it's already attracting a very mixed crowd of people.
I feel very safe here in the day time and I don't come to the area when it's too dark because it does tend to draw homeless people and users of harder substances.
I have purchased gummies, brownies, cookies, pre rolled joints, and other goodies from this little park and I highly recommend it if you're 420 friendly.
You'll notice that many of the people who are selling here take their jobs and reputation serious so they try to offer consistent quality.
