If you order food, don't seet upstairs, there is no-one there consistently to inquire.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Muss Café is definitely a must in Oaxaca City. After a very long trip we were in need of a very good coffee, and browsing on @googlemaps and @instagram this looked like one of the best cafés downtown since it had great reviews and pictures, therefore, we decided to stop by. For starters, it is located on a very beautiful old building with a contemporary touch. It has a beautiful inside patio which we were not able to enjoy because it was fully booked, but we will definitely go back to enjoy it. We ordered an americano with steamed milk and a cold brew- both were absolutely delicious. The menu has plenty of healthy options for breakfast, we tried the avocado toast (Green tomatoes + feta cheese + olive oil + sourdough), and a danish bread. It is a good place to work since the WiFi and the ambiance are great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered yoghurt with fruit and granola. This is how it was served (I had not even taken a bite). I asked i they had forgotten the yoghurt, but apparently this was the yoghurt. I asked if I could have more since this was not really what I expected, the answer was that I had to pay extra for that. I then sent the bowl back to the kitchen and at that point the offered me the equivalent of 3 spoons extra yoghurt for free. This review is obviously not about yoghurt but rather expectations and price/quality. I would recommend going somewhere more local and with better service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disappointed !!! I came there two years ago, after the pandemic, this place changed so much and quality of service/food has become deplorable. We waited for half an hour to get our coffee and sandwiches, later to find they completely forgot out orders. The food that came was wrong, and the vegan sandwich was disgusting. The coffee was still good though

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is an 11/10! The staff is amazing, the food delicious (lots of healthy/vegan options but also incredible bacon), it’s reasonably priced, and it’s attached to a gorgeous hotel. Oh, also great coffee! Definitely worth a visit.
