Everything was absolutely perfect, organized, enjoyable, and extremely memorable!! Linda was always good with communicating, sharing the joy, and making sure everyone knew the plan. Her team is icing on the cake with all of those things as well! It was the most enjoyable, stress-free, and absolutely amazing days of our lives thanks to them!

Planning any wedding is stressful. Planning a wedding in a foreign country can be even more stressful. Linda was a perfect match for our planning needs right from the start. She helped guide us in the right direction time after time, and often anticipated our needs and desires before we did. There’s a lot to be said for a professional that has planned numerous weddings in the area. After talking with her over the phone several times and expressing our (rather vague) ideas, she had us figured out. She arranged a comprehensive site visit that included our prospective hotel and venue, possible vendors, and multiple tastings. The condo style hotel we went with was perfect for both of our families, just as Linda advised. Her associate, Carolina, is a gem as well. She is local and is a great asset to the team. You’ll feel very comfortable in the area with her guidance and you’ll want her close by on your wedding day. They are both super responsive. Linda will communicate with you from literally anywhere in the world, almost any hour of the day! I can’t stress enough how important the vendors are when planning a destination wedding (or any wedding). She has access to the best. From flowers, to photographers. She’ll provide many options of vetted professionals with portfolios to choose from. Once she gets to know your style and preference, she’ll find a fit. You won’t believe how good the food will be and how beautiful your venue will be with the extraordinary fresh local flowers. Words cannot describe how happy we were on our wedding day! From the moment we started our wedding planning and chose Playa del Carmen, MX, Linda has been present every step of the way. She was able to suggest options between wedding venues, vendors, and styles to fit our needs. She was also able to organize transportation and accommodations for all of our guests. Leading up to the event, Linda was in constant communication with us via email, phone, text & whatsapp. Further, earlier in the planning process she set time sensitive milestones for us to complete and kept us ahead of schedule. During the days leading up to the wedding, while all of our guests were arriving, her priority was always focused on us and making sure everything was organized up to our desires. Her spreadsheets/agendas kept us "in the know" and were always easy to use or manipulate. Originally, I had planned to do all of my wedding planning myself, but my work and lack of ability to speak Spanish was getting in the way. Hiring Linda was the best decision I made in my wedding planning process. She has been working in the industry a long time and introduced me to the vendors who made our wedding literally the best day of my life. From introducing me to Ashley at Paradise Photo Studio, to the amazing flowers by Floreria Jardin, and one of the best parts of our wedding--our wedding officiant Paula Riquelme--our day was everything we wanted it to be and suited us as a couple. It was such a pleasure working with Linda! She planned our destination wedding in November 2021 in Playa. All of the vendors Linda arranged were fabulous. Especially, Paula who officiated the wedding ceremony. You need to hire My Playa Wedding and specifically Linda and Carolina. They are a dream team. Linda worked tirelessly to make our wedding dreams into a reality; going over every last part in detail to ensure things were just as we wanted. She was professional, pleasant, and honestly just a joy to be around. Her hands-on and direct approach to everything really made our lives easier. She was also able to solve any problem that came our way. For instance, we had planned for an outdoor ceremony and reception, but the weather had other ideas at the last minute. Upset and tired, we put things completely into Linda’s hands and she knocked it out of the park, to the moon…and then some. She had a backup plan in place and coordinated with the vendors to arrange the furniture, décor, etc. in such a way that ended up being better than we ever could have imagined. We don’t know what we would’ve done with out her. She really saved the day. She is incredible at what she does and has a smile on her face while she’s doing it. If you’re thinking about hiring a planner, she is the BEST choice!

Linda, Paula and Sergio were absolutely wonderful. Linda had less than a week to plan our beach wedding and she delivered 110% It was amazing! I didn’t have to do a thing, Linda took care of everything. Paula was wonderful, the ceremony was beautiful and the words were truly meaningful. This team was outstanding and I would recommend them to anyone looking to get married.

Wow! Linda and Carolina are a dream team. We knew we wanted to get married in Playa but didn't know where to begin. We found My Playa Wedding and sent an email about possible venues. Linda took the time to respond with choices and price ranges before we even hired her. That says a lot. She was so helpful from Day 1. Endless questions, emails, texts, ideas, phone calls and a year and a half later... We had the perfect wedding. We cannot thank Linda and Carolina enough for all their help leading up to our big day and taking care of the details day of so we could enjoy the celebration stress free. Truly a magical week in Playa and if we could do it all over again, we wouldn't change a thing. Linda and Carolina are the absolute best!!
