★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr. Carlos Galicia Rosete saved my dad's life in March 2019. My 88-year old father came down with community acquired pneumonia while spending the winter in PV. He was in critical condition when he finally sought medical help. Dr. Galicia cared for him at Hospital MedAssist, including a thoracentesis (chest tube) which drained close to 3L of fluid from my dad's chest over several days, while he had antibiotic and other pulmonary therapies. He explained the options to us in clear English, and although busy, he was present to adjust treatments daily and continue to follow up. We got my dad home to Canada where he recovered fully, thanks to Dr. Galicia and the team at MedAssist.
