Don’t do it! Terrible service, awful cheap food. Things falling apart in the rooms, scams of extra charges for all the things you would think are included (like breakfast with the characters) shuttle doesn’t show up for airport, buffet are limited, super late check in, the list goes on. The only nice thing about this hotel is it’s nice appearance. Even still the swim up pool is only good in the morning as the entire area is in the shade afternoon and super chilly. Oh and the water park closes at 5. So basically after 5 there’s not much to do. The slime party is garbage, nothing like what is advertised. The live music was awful. This is not a 5 star hotel. At best maybe 3 star. Don’t waste your money on this place, you WILL regret it!

Don’t often write reviews but I have to rave about the staff and the resort. The staff was amazing and attentive. I was always offered a drink. The food at the the Yacht Club and Good Burger are amazing. Breakfast at the Spatula is a must for a full day of water park fun! Recommend water shoes it will make your beach experience enjoyable!

Nick Resort was an awesome experience! Lots of things to do with the kids! Water park was excellent! My butlers Carlos and Rob were excellent and they were both extremely friendly and helpful. Kids loved The Good Burger restaurant. The adults loved Piazza. Only complaint that I have is that there are too many buffets. I’d prefer more sit and dine options. I feel like they really missed an opportunity by making the Yacht Club a buffet instead of a fancy restaurant. Other than that, everything was great! Had a great time and will be back in the future!

Beautiful place, we will definitely be back. BUT! There are a few things that disappointed us and we understand the Hotel just opened so we hope that it will be fixed before our next visit. On the downside the rooms are not quiet the isolation feels like paper. You can hear people talking from your room either in the hall or your neighbours next door. The transportation needs a little bit more experience as we often waited for buses to take us to our room, they should have lines of carts or buses all the time to the water park in the hotel. The very last thing that I did not enjoy was the temperature of the water. All rooms are swim out but the water is cold. Not many pools are heated only the paw patrol pool and the pool where you get down the slides. The list of positive things is way longer but I will stick with what we preferred first the security at the water park was incredibly amazing. All facilities around the water park are just perfect. My daughters six and eight years old enjoyed the full days going down all the beautiful and amazing slides they have. We also had fun at the character meets beautiful pictures were taken and beautiful moments will be remembered. The shows at night are very fun and inviting although it is cold there make sure you bring a jacket or a vest. Our favourite nights though were whenever there were theme nights so the Mexican night and the Hawaiian night were simply amazing, food outside, they moved the buffet to an outside area and decorated the whole place, just amazing. I don’t know if it’s because of Covid but there was never anyone anywhere so no lines no wait for sliding or eating. The size and set up of our room was perfect for a family of four I loved that the king bed was separated by doors so we could have privacy. The view is amazing!!! We will surely be back!

First impressions are last longing. And i was not impressed with the reservation attendants. Our rooms were not ready, and it took more than three hours to get things settled. Granted our party was a bit large (19), check-in should be nice and smooth. And although the comp for our woes wasn’t bad, we would have preferred great service and rooms since our arrival. Overall, Nickelodeon’s organization has a huge area for improvement. Service and food was good. I would suggest a stay no longer than two to three days. If what you want is for the kids to have fun for sure they will. We would also suggest a special area or schedule for hotel guests that go to the water park. This in consideration to the additional day-park tickets that are sold to the public. Also the transportation and checkout is very slow and delayed.

Airport transfers are a NIGHTMARE! Asking the hotel concierge for help with anything is a complete waste of time! We had a swim-up suite. Great for pictures but the shadow over the water from the top 2 floors of rooms kept the water cold all day. There was a nice tub in the bathroom - it leaked all over the bathroom floor & into the room the one day we tried to use it. Great food when it was available! Delicious drinks - we never had a bad bar tender! The resort credit is a complete joke! How do you offer a resort credit at a kid’s resort but not allow it to be used on ANY kids services? Not even on a Mommy & Me spa day. Kids entertainment was A+ though. Recommend the character breakfast - not so much for the food but it does entertain the kids.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience! Reading all of the negative reviews made me very nervous, but I'm so glad we went ahead with our stay. The check-in process was a breeze (it was late at night), the water park was fabulous, the food was really good, and everyone was very nice. There was an error with our dinner reservation on the first night, but they immediately fixed it. We enjoyed all of the activities including Mexican night and music, Slime Nights, the acrobatic shows, and the movie night. The only "negatives" - the room needed a legitimate garbage can, the water at the swim up pool was really too cold to enjoy, and the beach wasn't great (very small, rough water, lots of seaweed). The character breakfast was a fabulous experience as well. Overall, this was truly the best trip we ever took, and my kids (ages 2 and 4) beg to go back nearly every day!

Staff at the water park and service at the restaurants were great. Activities & Show entertainers staff were awesome at the water park. Zeus and few other young staff are real good caretaker and making sure kids of all ages have blast. Food was good, at Le Spatula little above average. No beach activities, seating area or very little to no beach. Very small beach front. You can not swim or go near the water with all the rocks. Disappointing even if you wanting to walk on the beach to enjoy the views. Rooms are big and nice. Swim up pool at balcony level or pool deck level is no use. Water stays cold even in very hot 90 degree weather. We rarely saw any guests in either pools during our 4 day stay. We couldn’t use it. Water was very cold to be in it. Beach view from every single room is disappointing. Placement of the hotel building within the resort is very weird. Amenities and entertainment is much needed at the hotel building. You have to take shuttle to main lobby or water park to visit other restaurants, bar or evening shows. Resort needs to add attractions and amenities to stay in competition with other family resorts in the area. Besides, water park which is the main and only attraction nothing else to look forward to. Two days stay is more than enough. It is not your average 4-7 day stay family vacation resort. Anything past 3 days is boring. On day three, small age kids even get bored of the same water park and activities. If you plan other excursions during the day outside the resort and return past 6pm, there is nothing to do or enjoy at Nickelodeon. Staying at other resort near by and planning a day pass trip to enjoy Aqua Nick water park will be smart move. Staff members even confirmed that majority of the guests staying are Locals or within Mexico and short stay guests.
