This is a very cool, low key place just a few steps away from the beach that you might not notice if you aren't looking for it. The owners are very friendly and were extremely helpful. There is a small bar good for hanging out in the shade. The rooms are air-conditioned and clean with semi-private decks. There are lots of restaurants and bars nearby. I definitely enjoyed my week here. Reserve ahead in high season.

Located at the south tip of Playa Zipolite (near El Alquimista). The rooms are big and bed is comfy, plenty of space to place your luggage and has a safe to store valuables. The WiFi is OK, but you can always chill in a hammock outside your room (each room has one), go to the hotel bar downstairs or walk a few feet to the beach (they have beach side service and chairs with umbrellas). There was an issue with the water during 1 night, the staff informed us of the situation, provided buckets of water (if needed) for the night, and the issue was solved early next morning. The staff informed us at all times and complimentary breakfast was offered to all guests for the inconvenience. Hats off to Juan and all the staff!!!!

I only visited the restaurant, I came back again and again because everything I ordered for dinner was totally delicious! The lady who cooks all alone is a master chef, the service was fast and friendly.

I ordered the vegan oatmeal with fruits. The only fruits it had were a few small cubes of apple. The portion was redicioulesly small and the price the highest I've been paying for a breakfast in Mexico yet. The tea I ordered never came even though the restaurant was empty. Now I have to get a second breakfast somewhere else. If I wouldn't have been that hungry I wouldn't have accepted the plate they presented me.

I went to this place starving for breakfast I ordered chilaquiles and they wanted to charge extra just for two eggs and then when they brought the food it was soo poor so lame so cheap absolutley not worth it. And then I found a HAIR on my food it was disgusting.

good air conditioned rooms, great outdoors feel. friendly staff. The only thing missing I think is some common space atmosphere, there's nowhere to really congregate or meet people in, which could be good if you want a very quiet stay.

Great location on the nicest stretch of playa Zipolite, literally one min walk from the beach. You hear the waves if you open the windows at night ❤️ They also have a nice tent on the beach, with cushions and beach chairs where you can enjoy and chill ! The staff was very friendly and nice and they even cleaned our room once even though we only stayed two nights. The WiFi when we were there was working pretty fine. The hammock in front of each room is amazingly comfy! The room, however, needs to be revamped: the bedsheets had a hole, the AC was really loud (without AC was very warm - and i usually don't even turn it on- but there's no fan available) and the shower and bathroom floor could be renovated, considering the room price. But I have to say the bed was big and comfortable (had a king-size)! Overall I enjoyed my stay here and can recommend it. If you want to stay on the beach in Zipolite I feel it's one of the nicest options :)

Lovely setting surrounded by jungle. The rooms are basic but nice and the bed is comfortable. There is a hammock on the small patio and a restaurant & bar near the entrance to the beach. Unfortunately the food was overpriced compared to other places in the area, so we did not eat there. It is designated as a Non-Smoking hotel property, although some guests were smoking on the patio anyway.
