Realizó sus Estudios profesionales para la carrera de abogado de 1968 a 1972 en la ESCUELA LIBRE DE DERECHO de la Ciudad de México.
Título: Obtuvo el título de abogado luego de sustentar su examen profesional el 5 de junio de 1974.
Tesis: Para obtener el título de abogado realizó la tesis titulada "ENSAYO SOBRE LA TIPICIDAD DEL TESTAMENTO Y LA DONACION MORTIS CAUSA".
Méritos Académicos: Por la tesis presentada para su examen profesional, obtuvo “mención honorífica” por parte del Jurado, presidido por el señor Rector de la Escuela Libre de Derecho.
Experiencia Profesional: Realizó la práctica notarial con el Licenciado Ramón Aguilera Soto, Notario 118 del Distrito Federal, con quien colaboró de 1968 a 1973 como pasante y de 1974 a 1979 como abogado.
Actividad Notarial: Obtuvo patente de aspirante a notario el día 10 de abril de 1980, y la Patente de Notario el 5 de noviembre de 1980, por haber obtenido calificación aprobatoria en su examen de oposición.
Actividades Académicas: Ha sido profesor titular en el Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) de la asignatura de Derecho Civil, impartiendo los cursos de Obligaciones y Contratos.
Ocupó el cargo de Secretario del Consejo del Colegio de Notarios del D.F., A.C. en el bienio 2004-2005.
Es autor sde diversos artículos jurídicos publicados en la Revista de Derecho Notarial y del Intituto de Investigaciones Jurídicas de la UNAM.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ El notario Plácido muy bueno, pero en su oficina tienen un pésimo servicio, una actitud grosera, no resuelven dudas, en especial la señora Rayo. Fatal su actitud y atención, despectiva y grosera, si pueden evitar hacer trámites en esta notaria se van a ahorrar corajes y malos tratos, lástima porque el notario es bueno.
