★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great creative dinner. Definitely not a family place, as there is nothing straightforward on the menu. We enjoyed each dish. The mushroom appetizer was very unusual and excellent. The Seabass was fresh and delicious. The prawns were perfect. Often restaurants that present meals in a different way are over engineered. At Nu, the flavors we’re not over bearing but interesting and we enjoyed it. It is contemporary in a nice setting, with a friendly staff. Prices are In line for resort area high-quality food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 6/5 stars. Food was the best we had visiting good restaurants in tulum. It was honestly so delicious! The atmosphere was super cool with some chilled music and smoke. Service also 10/10. Would really recommend this place and I would even come back again.

The fish with vanilla emulsion, the vanilla butter and the filled chile were the highlights of the night. The servers were so friendly. We had an amazing night

Some highlights: Seared Caribbean white fish (super delicious with crispy skin and spicy chilis on the plate), large prawns with bernaise sauce (best prawns I’ve ever had), pork loin stuffed pepper (well balanced and flavorful), grilled pineapple dessert with almond cake?? Mezcal margaritas did not disappoint either. Highly recommend this spot. The restaurant itself is beautiful too.

-The service staff was friendly.
-The Prawns were great.
-Presentation of the food was good.
-Good ambient lighting made for a relaxing time.
Cons:
-The waiter asked if it was a special occasion, and we said it was our anniversary, and he did nothing.
-The waiter brought us a single piece of okra like it was a rarity.
-The red snapper was overcooked and the three month old chicken was marinated too long, and too salty.
-We came for the Octopus, but found out that a new menu was put in place three months ago, and it is not as appetizing as what I've read in most of the reviews.
-The main entrees were edible but overpriced.
Go to Tulum Centro to avoid this tourist trap.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I didn't make reservation in advance but I knew this restaurant welcome walk-ins. When I talked to the host, she told me no right away. Then I walked away and my friend talked to a man in the restaurant and he lets us in right away. How nice of him.
I love the food and cocktails here. The wing beans really tasty and I want to come back for more. Rest of the dishes are very good! I highly recommend this place!!!!
