The house is beautiful, clean and in the middle of nowhere. Yes it has a pool, restaurant and beach entrance near by however they close at 5:00pm! You'll need a car no matter what, or you will be in the house your entire vacation. Olahola called right after we checked out saying there were towels missing ? They only provided us with 3 towels and said there was 4 towels missing! Yes be ready to pay extra money ... I have no clue what happened to the towels or who took them but hope you guys enjoy our money ! The beaches south of Cancun to the Tulum area are experiencing an inflow of Sargassum seaweed. The seaweed accumulates on the beaches near the shore, the water has turned black and it smells horrible.

Very nice apartment and infrastructure in the middle of the golf course. It has a shared or private swimming pool. The issue is that the Costa Maya is rather oriented to hotel tourism. There are almost no restaurants in the neighborhood and the closest supermarket is 20 km away. Hence it is not very handed for self cooking neither. You will need a car if you go there. For the food, we ended up taking the all in day pass from the neighboring hotel that owns the golf. That is also where you can go to the beach but for that you do not need the day pass.

We booked an Airbnb condo with Olahola as property managers. I was unable to access the condo key code, so I contacted them. After two days of calling and three days before check in I was called by an agent from Mexico City who told me the owner was cancelling my rental and they were moving us to Tao! I was extremely frustrated. What if I hadn’t called them. When were they going to let me know? After long negotiations, he agreed to refund what I had paid Airbnb. To be fair, they did refund my money. A local realtor and friend hooked us up with an Airbnb condo that she knew the owner personally, so all ended well. I however am suspicious that Olahola intended to move me all along. That is only my suspicion but I will never do business with them again

We interviewed Tania from Olahola as we were looking for a property management company, she appeared to be fun, cultured, and responsive. She made amazing promises to take care of our w condo hile we just relax. We essentially gave her all access to the condo and flew home. She promised to get the condo painted, help to get it furnished and put on rental market. The communication slowed down from there, to a point that I couldn't get her respond my emails, whatsapp messages, they weren't even read for a month! I tried the phone number listed on their website, surely no one answered. When we got the bills, we saw some outrageously expensive purchases - 800 USD for 2 comforter and duvet covers. wow, those were the Most expensive comforters I have ever owned in my life! My pottery barn goose down comforter was even cheaper than that, and of course, they actually look like walmart quality. we were so disgusted with the paint quality they did, and had to hire a really good painter to repair the damages they did. Attached some images. She promised to order a couch, after more than a month, it was still not ordered, she had all sort of reasons- bank problems...etc. Eventually we figured out to order it by ourselves, and missed the sales window, price went up.They said they'd order and install the TV, after a month, absolutely no sign of TV being ordered or installed. I sent emails and messages and of course, no one ever got back to me. To their credit, the listings eventually went online! Wooray, we thought finally, balls got rolling. However, no bookings what's so ever under their management. After 2 and half weeks, we thought how could it be? We created a listing on our own and got our first 3 bookings in one day. I called to make sure the place is ready and clean for our guests. And... of course, the guest checked in, sent angry messages to me that the place was filthy... what a nightmare... that was the last straw on the back, we fired Olahola promptly from there. A few days later, someone from their company, unannounced, came to the property and entered without any permission (they never gave back the keys) and we were so horrified that we had to call locksmith to change the locks! Be away from this company, if you can, we had a few dreadful months dealing with them and that was enough!

Rented a place through VRBO in the bahia principe. . A Month in advance, arrive dec 21, and no place. 14 hrs on the phone with xpedia. Finally told to rent another place and submit the receipts.Weeks of trying to get ahold of these guys with no response. Managed to get another number for them from the club house. So I phone. Talk ro a lady and explain what happened. Hours later I get a call from a guy blaming xpedia for the no rental property and says he has an apartment for me. Stated that's not what I rented and 24 hrs now after check in. Stated I wanted my money back and was told he didn't have my money $2700. Dont book with these people. Stay away from them.

We booked a vacation stay with the intention of having a relaxing time. Our stay was anything but that. Upon check-in, we waited at the security checkpoint for almost an hour because they did not send the details for us to gain access to the property. After having that issue resolved and entering the unit, we discovered there was no water. We tried calling all the emergency contacts they provided including their chat app, but no one answered. The next morning, we had water, so we thought we were all set. Two days later we woke up at 7 am to three inches of water on the floor due to a bad water heater connection. As it previously was, we call, no one answered our calls text, or chat messages via their app. We had to move all the furniture to the balcony, use buckets and mops to remove the water. Five hours later we received a message stating this was our fault for not sitting in the unit and wait for a reply as the property manager did not have a key to the unit. Go figure! I WAS NOT AWARE WAITING WITH A KEY IS WHAT YOU ON VACATION. We cancel our itinerary for the day and return to find the manager there with his key that magically appeared.
