Carol Curtis stepped down from the presidency after 6 years and turned this wonderful organization over to Janine Kirkland as of March 1st, 2020. Janine has been a very active member for many years, serving as a leader of the mini-businesses and a despensa organizer. It was expected that the transition would be easy. Then the whole world went into crisis mode, and Janine had to manage twice as many needy villagers while trying to raise the money to feed them and have the process done in a very safe manner. We all congratulate her for surviving the first month with grace, humor, and ability.
