I'd had lower back and hip pain for several years and gone from practitioner to practitioner and through the gamut of treatments, never getting any serious or long-term relief. At one point the pain was so aggravated that I couldn't even sleep in a bed -- I slept in a hammock for months. I found José's website via a simple Google search, but having been disappointed so many times before, I wasn't expecting much. Well, after one session, plus following the simple protocol that José prescribed (not much more than a few exercises repeated several times a day), I was feeling vastly better. Even sleeping was a whole new experience -- comfort I hadn't had in years. I kept up the exercises and in two months I'd say I was about 85-90% better. I've just had my second session and am confident that things will only improve further. José clearly has both extensive training and experience and is able to quickly analyze and set a course for treatment. He's also a lovely person with whom I feel completely at ease. An added bonus is that he speaks both English and Spanish! Please note, however, that healing comes as a team -- José can work with your body and guide you, but you have to follow the protocol he recommends and do your own work once the session ends. Otherwise, progress will likely be a lot slower and perhaps only short-term.

Wow Jose was incredible, I arrived in Oaxaca with lower back pain that went down to my sciatica! I could barely walk or stand up fir more than 5 minutes without having to sit down! After 3 days of this I searched for a healer, chiro. Osteopathe whatever could help relieve this pain! Jose sent me a message and I made an appointment the same day! He worked on my leg for an hour, then we went for our excursion for the day! After about an hour as we began walking I noticed that the pain was gone! I still had some pain in my lower legs this time but the sciatica pain was gone! I was able to see him a second time and after 2 sessions I’m back on my 2 feet! Thank you so much!!!

Pepe and his kitten saved my head from falling off completely. I had a strained(?) neck from a massage and was a little freaked out I would be paralyzed and he worked on it for about an hour, with a few different therapies and he was extremely knowledgeable and I felt in very calm and competent hands. Plus the therapy kitten in my lap, he actually had to force me to leave. I am happy to say my head is still attached and my neck has zero pain / all it’s mobility back.

Relaxing and informative. We started with an analysis of my standing posture, then we did some leg exercises, as I skateboard for a living, in order to understand where my weaknesses and strengths lie. Afterwards he filmed them and sent them to me so i can practice them at home. He then did some strong but surprisingly gentle manipulations on my back and neck to realign everything. Never felt so good and straight in my life, every bone in my body felt in the right place. Wholeheartedly recommend if you want to improve your posture, realign your body and meet a gentle, kind and loving person.

Had two treatments here, which took away the pain in my back I was dealing with. Great explanation of the issues he saw and how to avoid them in the future. Treatment felt very natural and dealt with the issues. Highly recommended!

I was so fortunate to have found Jose! He is very professional, thorough and pays attention to detail. Also, he has a very unique way of healing, combining several different techniques and it truly works. My body and mind went through massive changes while I was getting treatments from Jose. My favourite physician so far and I would highly recommend it to anyone!
