The spot was a cool little food court, and we chatted with the owner while he prepped everything. Such a nice guy! I had the Oreo papi churro, she got the honey and caramel at his recommendation, and both were fantastic!! We’re here for 2 more full days and there’s a very good chance we’ll go again!!

My three year old cried that he had to share, because that is how good this was… trust me, your inner child will throw a fit when your girl tries to steal a bit. The presentation was amazing, the churro was delicious. My only recommendation would be for creamier ice cream. But even so, it was still 5 stars! The owner was super cool! A vet from LA bringing those LA deserts to Playa Del Carmen! It’s a must try.

My friend and I were in the mood for some dessert and we just happened to miraculously stumble upon this place. Number one, best churro/ice cream combination I’ve ever had in my life and also a work of desert art (very social media postable) Number two, very inexpensive for what you get. Number three, the owner Mario (who speaks perfect English and Spanish) was literally the nicest gentleman ever, he gave us other great food/nightlife recommendations in Playa and the surrounding area and also told us about how to go about going to the best cenote‘s/ landmarks/ other fun tours in Quintana Roo. Make the stop for one of the best deserts in Mexico!

The man working was so kind and even offered us a cup of bubblegum ice cream for our daughter. Definitely would go back to try the churros and ice cream combo!

They offer a ton of options for dressing up your churro the way you want, or you could also just go with a classic one. The owner is super friendly and hospitable :) We had a great chat with him and he gave us some excellent recommendations for things to do while we’re here.
