This resort is overall amazing! I’ve been here 5 times and it’s always a wonderful time! Fuego is my favorite restaurant at the resort and the service is always excellent throughout. Sergio was particularly great and helped us pick a variety of drinks and food options for the evening! Will come back many times over!

The resort is better than I ever expected. My favorite thus far is the breakfast buffet at Hadar. It’s certainly unlike any buffet. From custom smoothies to the fruit assortments. Exceptional!! What’s even more exceptional is the service. William and Ismael really cater to your every need! The service at this resort and particularly the Hadar Restaurant is a testament to how amazing this resort is!!

This resort is just okay. I think it would be great if you’re going with kids, as the family side seemed really nice. The adults side is a good fit for more of a group party vacation than a relaxing couples vacation, so just depends on the vibe you’re going for. Pros: -Staff is really nice and helpful, no complaints there -We loved having access to the swim out room pool -The Reserve pool is very nice and stays warmer longer than the main pool -The water features and landscaping in the restaurant areas are stunning -The wristband system isn’t bad as it’s a nice rope fabric, so you barely notice it and it was actually really nice not to have to dig around for a room card all the time -The Italian restaurant is very good -The spa was great (although the treatment rooms have outdoor showers which I wanted to try but it didn’t seem like using them was actually an option before or after either of my treatments) -If you like dining outdoors, a few of the restaurants offer outdoor seating Cons: -Even as a lightweight, the drinks were very weak -Unless you pay for Reserve, room service is an additional $5 each time after the first two orders (not a big deal, but unusual in my experience) -Bar service at the pools doesn’t start until 11AM -Our patio furniture was missing cushions -The outdoor jet tub was poorly maintained -The room could have been cleaner -The power went out during our stay -The breakfast, lunch, and poolside food was usually average or not good -There are no hot tubs (at least none that are heated) -The coves with jets connected to the swim out rooms are not heated and the tile in them felt kind of slimy -Dinner is by reservation only, so you have to stick to a plan, which I don’t love during vacation

First of all I’d like to say that Hector was absolutely amazing. He went out of his way to make our stay comfortable. He would always try to assist us with our stay. Secondly the pool concierge Daniel and the pool waiter Alfredo were great. -Keep in mind I paid $600 per night- The Bad: the pool and facility is some what dated. The pool is missing tiles and is dirty/cold. The pool chairs are also old and stained. The whole resort has awful light. Room service is extremely slow. Room service food was inedible. The food is absolutely disgusting. Most foods are not edible. It is also not vegan or vegetarian friendly (especially the buffets, meat and veggies are touched with the same utensils) The bar reuses plastic cups without property washing them The worst part of the vacation was when we found somebody else’s blood on our sheets. We also had ants in our room the whole stay. When I called to have these issues fixed it took 3 hours. They don’t offer transportation to and from the airport I can go on and on but you get the point.

My husband and I were looking forward most to a dinner at Fuego. We finally got a reservation and they did not disappoint! We have been here for a couple days already and Roberto by far provided us with the best experience. The food was pretty and tasty. But Roberto made sure we had drink refilled quickly and made some awesome recommendations to enhance our experience. It’s nice when someone can guide you through the menu so you don’t miss out!

This resort is so lovely, but the best part is the people who work there. We were so well taken care of. The food was delicious and fresh. The service was excellent. Our favorite dinners were at Fuego with Roberto waiting on us and Chef Freddie’s beautiful food. We are so glad we stayed here. Such a treat!

Fantastic experience! Comfortable rooms, excellent amenities! There is a swim-up bar in the pool area, and if you have a ground-level room, you will have pool access from the back patio . Everything is super clean, and if not, the staff will make it right! The restaurants were mostly good (some way better than others). I’d recommend the restaurant Fuego, which was by far my favorite. Roberto was a fantastic server and gave us all his favorite recommendations and was really awesome.

We just finished our dinner at Fuego at this resort, and it was nothing short of stellar! We were given a private dining area that they had all set up with candles and rose petals. We had no idea this was coming, but it was absolutely wonderful! Roberto took excellent care of us, he was so friendly and engaging. The food was exquisite. Multiple appetizers, a couple of entrees, and some desserts later, we are so full and happy. No detail was overlooked. The restaurant manager, Roberta, made sure that everything was top notch, and was so welcoming. We could not ask for a better way to celebrate our honeymoon!
