★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bel endroit dans la nature ou nous avons rencontré des locaux sensibles à l'écologie. Ne pas manquer de faire une visite en bateau dans la mangrove très tôt le matin (6h00) pour éviter la foule et profiter du lever de soleil.
 Beautiful place in the nature where we met local ecology sensitive. Do not miss a boat tour in the mangrove very early in the morning (6:00 am) to avoid the crowds and enjoy the sunrise.

The tour of Rio Lagartos is very complete, spend a night and I found a very quiet town, near the main park there is a pizzeria, and there are several hotel options.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ J'ai beaucoup aimé Rio Lagardos. Petite ville tranquille, bord de mer agréable. Nous y avons fait un détour par hasard en nous rendant à las coloradas (qui nous a un peu déçu). Nombres visite en bateau sont proposées pour observer les flamands roses.
I really liked Rio Lagardos. Small quiet town, pleasant seaside. We made a detour there by chance on our way to las coloradas (which disappointed us a bit). Many boat tours are offered to observe the flamingos.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice seaside community with easy access to a shallow saltwater estuary great for birding. The state has invested in some conservation measures. Town iitself is clean and feels safe. A few restaurants all about the same. Nothing overly fancy and nothing outstanding. Small selection of hotels and motels. Book early if you come on a holiday weekend.
