Well located, we had a lady at reception who could not give us any references and I think it is important to be able to help tourists. The bathroom in the very improvised room, the loose toilet and the extremely small sink, it seems that there are other more beautiful and spacious rooms, for the price I think that what you pay for is the location, nothing out of the ordinary in the hotel

This hotel is a great mix of luxury and comfort - the rooms are clean and new, yet still have the charming character you hope for in a hotel in this area. Being in Condesa, there are many restaurants and parks within a few minute's walking distance. Thanks to the staff for a great stay here - I hope to be back soon!

A new hotel with room to improve. The property is in a great location on a quiet street and near to everything. Elegant design, spotlessly clean, restful beds and linens, luxurious showers, and great internet. The staff was friendly, helpful, and incredibly accomodating. The downsides: there is no signage on the outside of the property, a bizarre oversight. It's difficult to find, especially at night. There is only an unmarked call box tucked away on the inside of a pillar next to what looks like a garage door. On check-in, an additional $2,000 peso damage deposit is required per room. Why? If this is hotel in the business of being a hotel, it should do business like every other hotel. On check-out, the rooms had to be inspected before the deposits were returned. Not being an unruly, destructive teenager, this felt awkward and condescending. After the first night of our stay, my guest in another room was asked to change to a smaller room, which seems like a problem with the reservation system and not something he should have had to do. My room was next to the lobby and it sounded like all normal lobby sounds -- guests arriving and departing, conversation, and music -- was in the room with me, and the noise was intrusive. If you stay, ask for a room on the second floor, which hopefully will be quieter. There was also water damage on my wall and a large chunk of paint was peeling off. There were plenty of vacant rooms during my stay; I could have been moved to another room so this could be repaired. Lastly, the room was shockingly cold. Yes, I did visit in December, but a simple plug-in radiator heater would have been a thougtful addition. This is a very nice property, and I sincerely hope it's brought up to its potential.

The room is really nice and clean. Two stars because of the weird reception. First off, there is no sign outside so you have to ring and it almost feels like you are entering a speakeasy. They ask you weird questions and also I was shocked at the numerous cameras everywhere. There is no privacy at all and the main gate doesn’t open, you always need to buzz and then someone will come to open. Also, the walls are so thin that you hear everything, not great for rough sleepers. I love the location and the street but I will not be back there for the reasons I mentioned above.

I booked via HotelTonight & I regret it. Beautiful but freezing. I left my reservation halfway because it is too cold in the hotel. Not all rooms are nice. The original room they tried to place me in was a small freezer box in the back of the property. Dark, scary, depressing, insanely cold with no heat source except for a half-broken, cheap small plastic space “heater” you plug into your one power outlet. (Try to get warm or you can charge your phone — you decide ?) Even though they initially told me all the rooms were booked, they were able to move me to a room right at the lobby entrance on the ground floor of the main building. Unfortunately there is ZERO sound insulation, so every lobby conversation and footstep is as though it is happening next to your bed. And still… freezing freezing freezing cold. Don’t be fooled by the photos — I saw two rooms with only very small showers, no bathtub or window. I don’t know which rooms those are or how to book them.

This is a gorgeous, clean and comfortable hotel in an amazing location. Probably the best hotel bed I have slept in to date. I booked via HotelTonight and got a great rate. The hotel is deserving of 5* based on appearances and comfort, but I can't give this score because of the points others have pointed out: - In 'hot' season (late April) the hotel was still cold, especially in the mornings. This will be a problem in the cold season for some. - Lack of privacy. Cameras absolutely everywhere. You can't just be buzzed in, someone has to come let you in. So, it feels like you are being watched all the time, and your comings and goings are difficult. I get security but I expect that in a hotel I can come and go with minimal intervention. This is also a relatively safe neighborhood so this level of security isn't really justified. - Inspection of the room before you check out is just really odd. I have never seen this in another hotel anywhere I have traveled in the world. - Lack of soundproofing, and in the rooms facing the lobby, note that lights are left on in the lobby, maybe they get turned off but were on when I fell asleep at 10 pm. There are blackout curtains but if you are light sensitive you'll need an eye mask. Based on these factors I'll opt to not stay here in the future. There is a lot to improve upon before I can consider staying again.
