★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Me gusta mucho su arquitectura que tiene estilo neogótico , la Parroquia de Nuestra Señora del Carmen, se construye en el siglo XIX, y cuenta con una fachada de estilo neogótico. Las portadas como las cúpulas están hechas de petatillo rojo, revestimiento de ladrillo y azulejo. Posee arcos ojivales y los remates son en forma piramidal. En el interior, sobresalen una serie de vitrales de origen francés, ubicados en la parte superior de los muros laterales......?????

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ El 24 de Diciembre de 1911 el arzobispo Ramón Ibarra colocó la primera piedra del templo del Carmen construido en estilo gótico esto debido a que cuando realizó las obras de remodelación del convento de nuestra señora. De los ángeles, se encontró en ese lugar una imagen de nuestra señora del Carmen, escultura que le pareció hermosa y le hizo su templo.
