Años fue panteón, estuvo una escuela,la iglesia fue atacada con cañón en tiempos de la revolución por la fuerzas federales y sigue en pie, en principios. Del siglo pasado a santa cruz le decían santa cruz torres mochas, pues la iglesia en esos tiempos no tenía torres.
Ahora somos Santa Cruz pueblo mocho, perdieron una parte de nuestro territorio, ja, ja, ja,ja,ja!
