Excellent and authentic Mexican food, fast service. Desserts are wonderful. The only bad thing I have to say is that they will not leave you napkins unless you ask for them.

Panamá Panadería is apparently a chain restaurant with a typical Mexican as its mascot. Or so it appears. There's that guy, not described, on their trucks. It's this guy that drew my attention. He was well lighted and reminded me of the more manly guy, a plumber, the possibly Tim of Finland mascot of a Tijuana building supply company that everyone loved to look at once I made him available for private viewing on Maps. About the Panadería itself I know nothing other than that people say if I want to pay United States prices for stuff, then I should go here. The last panadería I frequented, the Panadería Ensenada on Av Niños Héroes in Tijuana, was closed by the state consumer police for being literally overrun by cockroaches -- there were photos and videos in Cadena Noticias -- and I've never entered a panadería in Mexico again. I do go to the sparkling panadería at 25th and Broadway in San Diego and highly recommend it though it has no mascot.
