SCAM. Don't just watch the pump to make sure they reset to zero; also watch it the entire time they are filling. Watch closely (step outside the car, and don't let anything distract you), and be ready for the attendant to reset to zero again mid-fill; in this case, you must remember the true amount that was actually filled. Try asking for a receipt, but know this request may be ignored. In my case... They DID reset the pump to zero before starting. I asked for 400 pesos worth of gasoline. They fill to 275 pesos, quickly reset the pump again, and ask me to pay 400 pesos. Refused to pay, stating they only filled 275. They then manually enter 400 pesos into the pump display, and again ask for 400... LOL. Refused to pay again. Attendant then seems to acknowledge some kind of mistake, and fills just 25 more pesos, for a total of 300, and you guessed it... asks for 400. Again, refused to pay, and asked for the remaining 100 pesos worth to be filled. Attendant laughed slightly and proceeded to fill the last 100. The car was full just shy of 89 (389 pesos total). Paid 400 with two 200 peso bills, clearly showing the bills and announcing the amount prior to handing them over. Asked for 10 pesos change. In one last pathetic scam attempt, only 5 pesos change was given. Asked for and received the remaining 5 pesos, and it was a done deal. Simple transaction!

The gas attendant tried to switch out the $10 bill with a $1 bill on top of overcharging for the conversion rate. Complete waste of time and energy spent arguing over his blatant attempt to steal. Avoid this place

BEWARE. I had the same experience as reported by some other customers ( how I wish I had read these reviews ). He insisted on cash only and did the 200/20 trick. I am sure he pulled out a 20 from his pocket and insisted i gave him that 20 instead of 200 and used the language barrier to get past his act. Pure criminal behaviour.

The employee who serviced us is a CRIMINAL. He did the 500/50 pesos trick, didn't zero the pump, charged way too much, and I think he pretended not to speak English because sometimes during his Spanish rambling that was supposed to confuse us he would say things in a pretty good English.

DO NOT GO HERE! FRAUDSTERS WORK HERE!!! The attendants will try to rip you off! The fat short guy saw us as tourist and immediately said cash only. Luckily we had pesos but only in 500 denominations. The man quickly swapped it with a 50 and told my husband he only gave him 50 pesos. Luckily we knew we didn’t have small bills.

BEWARE OF SCAMMERS. This gas station will do a slight of hand and switch your big bills for smaller ones and say you gave them the wrong money.

Do not come here, they are thieves!! Gave them $20.00 USD and they did a slight of hand and tried to convince us that we gave them only $1.00 . They also did not give us the amount of gas we paid for. Avoid this gas station all together because there's nothing you can do about it when they scam you

Scam Alert!!! They claim they only take cash so they can swap your 500 pesos notes for 50s and 200s for 20s. They do have a credit card terminals, but refuse to card so they can cheat and steal those miserable bast**ds
