Pemex - 77500 Cancún

I noticed on my September 2016 trip that a new gas station company named Go and Go Mart are new to Mexico due to the government deregulation it appears Oxxo's are also adding gas pumps in other areas of Mexico. Pemex is full serve only and attendant will was your windshield ,I always tip 3-5 pesos.

I was paranoid about being scammed so I paid in cash, made sure the meter started at 0.00 and when I paid I counted the cash in front of the attendant. No problem! ?

Good and honest service. Came here for 50 liters of 87 octane at 10 pm on a Sunday, and they filled it up and squeegeed the front and rear windshields - no tricks, nothing.

Being leery of past scam stories at Mexican gas stations, I have become very aware when I am filling up. I always physically watch them reset the pump to zero before they start pumping my fuel and always pay in cash to ensure My card doesn’t get skimmed. When I filled up this evening, the total was 556 pesos, so I carefully counted out 580 pesos to give the guy a tip for cleaning the windows. He took the cash and turned back towards the pumps and we saw him give us a strange look and I immediately sensed that something was up. He then came back to the window telling me that I had shorted him 100 pesos and counted out 480 pesos. I gave it a quick fight but without being willing to turn it into a situation, I decided to give him another 80 pesos and be done with it. Since I was already going to give him a 24 peso gratuity, he ended up beating me for 76 pesos. Obviously not the end of the world, but just another example of why Mexico needs to get rid of the full service gas stations.

Scammers. We got gas and offered a tip. Paid with a credit card and the guy gave himself double the tip. Dishonest guys like him give Mexico the bad reputation it deserves.

No scams. Straight up service. Used a credit card without any issues. Tipped for window cleaning and service.

The old lady stocking the shelves screamed at my daughter because she filled the slushy cup too high... Really????

If you like your gas pumped for you, Mexican station are for you AND they do it with a smile. Qà
