We came here after reading the reviews and were not disappointed. David & Melanie have created a beautiful, small restaurant and their passion for their business is clearly huge! We felt the prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food. We were brought a seafood broth as an appetiser “on the house” which was a lovely, generous surprise. We ate bone marrow sopes, pescadillas (best I’ve ever had), fish tacos (careful, picante! But delicious). Good luck for the future!

Incredible presentation with an incredibly friendly staff. The food was absolutely amazing. They focus on local food and flavors. Pretty much the whole staff waits on you and makes sure your having a great experience. Kids had a great time too. They had amazing strawberry lemonade while my wife and I enjoyed mojito’s and margaritas.

How lucky of us to have walked by this absolute gem of a place in the few hours we had in Puerto Morales! Every single thing we tasted was exceptional, the ambiance was lovely, and the service was the best we've had (high bar for Mexico, given the incredible service we've seen everywhere). We even got a ton of recommendations for what to bring back (and where to buy it the cheapest) which was spot on and appreciated. Our only regret is that we weren't super hungry and didn't have more time, but we'll be sure to be back some day. Congrats on this excellent new addition to Puerto Morales!

This restaurant was top quality. The staff were wonderful. We tried several of their dishes highlighting regional Yucatán flavors. Highly recommend the Pescadillas and the whole grilled fish. The margaritas were delicious. The passion fruit was my favorite but try the Tamarindo. This was a great place to eat with our in-laws.

Peninsula - you will never forget this restaurant - because everything tastes unique - for myself found my heaven for fish soup in Mexico - the best secret recipy ! Very distinct flavors of crustacés - Mexican bouillabaisse for connaisseurs !! @Worldwide traveler

Long story short: eat here, you won't regret it. Far away from a tourist trap, local food that you won't find elsewhere and very nice service. Down side, a bit pricy for the food and the quantity, but doable. Don't miss the juices, mango and passion fruit was incredible.

First night in puerto morales and stumbled upon this very inviting open air restaurant. Service was fantastic and food was even better. Get a fresh made soup and the flank steak tacos and surf and turf tacos were delish. I loved the non-alcoholic pitcher of lightly sweet strawberry lemonade. Soooo refreshing. We’ll be back.

Short version: this place is amazing, eat here now. Top quality, unique local dishes, reasonably priced, friendly attentive staff. Long version: I 'm a life-long foodie and cook, when I travel I'm always looking for gems like this place. They are few and far between. I walked all around town looking at menus and asking for recommendations and this was the one spot I knew would be good just by talking to the hostess. She was passionate and excited about bringing traditional food of the area to the people. They sent us a soup to start the meal, tasted like a shrimp broth. Then bone marrow sopes, chicken lime soup, battered fish tacos (best I've ever had) and catch of the day with xcatic sauce. For dessert we had a crispy marqueseta. I'd get them all again in a heartbeat. We don't get a huge appetite when it's hot out so the above was shared with my wife and teenage son. It was perfect. Really friendly and helpful staff/owners as well.
