Incredible condo, on-site chef is fabulous. Buccanos restaurant right down the road, a must eat for breakfast, lunch, dinner. Snorkeling out front of condo is pretty, especially on calm water days. Owner of condo is polite and if any issues arise she is immediately on it to rectify. In addition to knowledgeable of suggestions or contacts for fishing, massage. Loved how private the condo was yet close enough to town for leisure stroll or short car ride. Rented scooters for day, toured the entire island, highly recommend. Rent on Sunday when there aren't any cruise ships in and fewer locals, tourist in road. Take the ferry to playa del Carmen for day, your around. Just bring lots of sunscreen, reapply daily.

We greatly enjoyed our stay here! We appreciated all of the amenities especially the fitness room and the on-site chef. It is a little farther away from town which has its pros and cons, but it certainly offers a much quieter location.

The villa was nice. It was represented that each bedroom had private balconies, that wasn't true but it didn't detract from our enjoyment. Biggest problem was the location, cab fare back & forth to downtown was $40-50 per day which was unexpected.

The condos are in need of a lot of maintenance. As for the building, the pool is missing tiles and has a fair amount of rust in it; the sandy portion referred to as a "beach" is hard and littered with debris like rocks, twigs, etc.; pool towels are thread-bare and have holes. As for individual condos: avoid A-1 as it is outfitted with shredded & stained bed linens, bedroom window coverings have holes like a cat has been climbing them, there is not enough water pressure to take a shower and the noise radiating from the trash chute, elevators and constant cyclical humming from the A/C motors in the stairs is beyond annoying while the kitchen faucet is corroded and missing the buttons to change the stream.

Unit D2 After a month here; I have to tell the truth. The building itself is big and clean. The staff is very friendly and the location is wonderful. The issues that are deal breakers are 1) they are repairing the water and sewer lines outside and for the entire month there were stretches of days that the smell of sewer would permeate our room and the complex. It is absolutely disgusting. Then even worse for us is there is a constant pounding sound; day and night. A dull thud that come from their water pick up station. I complained from the 3rd night here and they were able to dampen it for a week, but it came back stronger and more persistent than ever. They are aware of the issue but can’t seem to solve it. If you stay in the A building on lower Floors (we stayed in A2) be prepared to be woken Many times during the night by this awful pounding. For units that rent and sell at these prices it is absurd. I’ll give you an update in a month after we have slept in our unit on the other side and on a top floor. Update; they have given us a week credit which I think is fair. I hope they get the noise solved.

Stunningly beautiful condominium complex with many amenities and an incredible team of support staff. A few of the condos are occasionally rented to guests who often do not realize this is not a resort or hotel.
