Stayed with family however they got robbed the first night there which made everyone on edge the entire trip making sure everything is locked up. House was nice and beautiful right on water but safety was an issue.

We just left this fantastic property on June 21st, 2016. We stayed for 7 nights and we're thrilled with the accommodations. The snorkeling off of the backside is one of the best you can get on the island! We swam for hours!❤️!! We had 9 in our group and the bedrooms worked out very well. The kitchen is well appointed with the exception of no dishwasher and only one sink.The staff was great too! Our housekeeper Antonia was very thorough and helpful. We found her to be very charming and engaging. The groundskeeper, Quinton is an American transplant and is very knowledgeable about the island and was pretty cool! We did have one incident regarding renting cars for a day. Make sure to ask the concierge for the rental car company listed in the faq's. Our concierge did not use the prearranged car company they say they use and got us two cars through a smaller company. The information we received from enjoycozumel said they use Fiesta Car Rental and that the prearranged price includes tax and INSURANCE. However, the car company our concierge used was not Fiesta and you are encouraged to buy the insurance because it is not included. We did have an incident where a business sign fell on the car due to wind and the owner of the business did not want to take responsibility. We ended up having to pay for some of the damage(1/4) and the owner of the business finally paid for the rest. The insurance deductible would have been more than what we ended up paying and it was just a huge mess that took involving the police and took up most of one day of our vacation. ? Regardless of this we chalked it up to experience and moved on to enjoying the rest of our vacation. The only other negative is water pressure and water temperature in the showers-if you can handle lukewarm to cold showers then you will be ok! This particular property is located within walking distance to town-you can get there at a leisurely pace of about 20-25 minutes. We rented some bicycles and it cut the time in half. We will definitely stay in private residences again when we return to Cozumel. It has been our experience after staying at resorts that this is the best way to be on vacation in Mexico.

We absolutely loved our 30 days at the Villa Princess. several people could stay at 1 time with privacy. a pool, access to the ocean and amazing sunsets. They even supplied information on cleaning services. Loved it. Would highly recommend
