★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Riviera Maya Golf Club was a beautiful course to play. It was challenging and everyone in our group enjoyed the experience. We did not have clubs so we needed to rent them. Ensure you at least bring your own golf balls or you will be charged an arm and a leg for balls. The employees were all very nice and accommodating. If I am recalling correctly, we only saw the beverage cart one time over all 18 holes, which was the one disappointing part. We took a shuttle from our resort in Tulum, which was quick but there was a lot of parking if you have your own vehicle.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely breathtaking, challenging golf course in Akumal. Greens are impeccable. Course design and landscaping is beautiful with cenotes, clear water, rock walls and more. Be prepared to lose all your balls you bring with multiple tight fairways and lots of water.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best course I've ever played, and I've played quite a few. We played the week before the course hosted a Latin America PGA event, so maybe our timing was lucky. I thought it was better than Mayakoba, no doubt. Absolutely beautiful course! You better bring a lot of balls, because the jungle will eat them quickly. And the pro shop only sells used balls that they find in the jungle.... Or at least that was the case with us. Range balls were complete trash, but warm up area was great other than that. It was also $175 CHEAPER than Mayakoba! If you're a golfer, you gotta check it out here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I golfed here late March 2022. Overall great experience, the course is incredible - the way its sculpted around the cenotes is really cool. I booked it online for 180usd/person. You get a discount if you stay at the Bahia resort. I forgot the balls that I brought from Canada in my hotel room so had to pay $28usd per sleeve of chromesofts (yikes). The rental clubs were TM M6. Also included free range use. In summary, amazing course but didnt see the cart girl a single time which was weird and overall things were a tad too expensive but would 100% go again.
