★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely love this place. Small, family hotel in the Northern part of the Island. Clean, comfortable rooms and great food. The water is crystal clear, and the snorkeling is great right of the pier. The waterfront bar is small and cozy. This was our 4th stay of many more visits.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place to snorkel and have sun and drinks...zero entry pool fun play area for kids..very small Rocky beach. If you are looking for a sandy beach go to the other end of the island.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had the most amazing week of my life at Playa Azul. My wife and I (plus 70 guests) enjoyed an incredible wedding. The staff / hotel / food / EVERYTHING was perfect. Miriam was the best wedding planner/coordinator anyone could ever ask for!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Playa Azul was beyond accommodating for my wedding vacation. We had 46 guests total, children included and they made sure we were all taken care of throughout the week we were there. The food is incredible, the service staff was so friendly and it was easy navigating to and from downtown Cozumel as well! What a pleasure it was to have our wedding with them!! My husband and I will be back for years to come to celebrate our anniversary! ❤️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So glad we booked this for our week vacation. The private beach is lovely, staff is so friendly and provided the best service, food was good and rooms were very comfortable. We love that it was a low key, quieter, intimate hotel that was so close to the beach. We really enjoyed every meal and chatting with the staff, they’re all so happy and kind. Definitely will be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely love this place! We decided to have our wedding here and we couldn't be happier with our choice. It is a really nice, intimate hotel with a great bar overlooking the sea and amazing food! The best of all is that the staff are all incredible! They work so hard, are very friendly and so accommodating. I very rarely want to go back to somewhere I've been before but we will be back for sure! Thank you for a wonderful time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our family absolutely loved this hotel! The room was very spacious and beautiful. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had a lot of different options to choose from, including some traditional food options. The beach was very private and relaxing. The hotel only has 50 rooms so it was very quiet and peaceful. Our family would definitely stay here again if we were in Cozumel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a charming hotel right on the beach! It's just minutes away from the airport, but you would never know once you get there. It feels like you are on the island all by yourself. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and with wonderful views. The staff was AMAZING - they were a special part of our stay and we enjoyed seeing them every day. They were always smiling and so friendly and helpful. We absolutely loved socializing with Kermit (one of the bartenders) and hearing all about the island. We can't wait to come back and highly recommend!
