★ ★ ★ ★ ★ El apartamento es bonito pero la playa cercana está invadida por el sargazo. Todas las playas en la zona son privadas por lo que si quieres ir a nadar debes pagar 100 MXP si eres extranjero y 80 MXP si eres mexicano. Si quieres ver tortugas debes pagar un guia aparte. Necesariamente debes venir con vehículo pues no queda nada cerca solo hay pequeños supermercados en la entrada de los condominios. Lo único rescatable de la zona es el snorkel en Yal-kub por 14 dolares puedes quedarte hasta las 4 de la tarde. Te rentan el equipo por 12 dólares más o puedes llevar el tuyo.
The apartment is nice but the nearby beach is invaded by sargassum. All the beaches in the area are private, so if you want to go swimming you must pay 100 MXP if you are a foreigner and 80 MXP if you are Mexican. If you want to see turtles you must pay a separate guide. You must necessarily come with a vehicle because there is nothing nearby, there are only small supermarkets at the entrance of the condominiums. The only redeemable thing in the area is snorkeling at Yal-kub for 14 dollars you can stay until 4 in the afternoon. They rent you the equipment for $ 12 more or you can bring your own.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful condo on the beach in Akumal. We rented unit 10 through Airbnb. Well stocked with everything we could need, including a blender (!). This unit is a studio style. Daily cleaning service is a nice plus. Many nice restaurants and bars in walking distance.
