Great public beach, not crowded, easily accessible, and has decent food nearby. Be warned, at least when I went there was a lot of sargassom (a smelly seaweed). While it wasn't an issue for me, if you dont like walking through some seaweed or are very sensitive to sulfur like smells I might skip this beach.

absolutely awful restaurant. ordered 2 $250 mxn Tequila Sunrises and both tastes awful and had no tequila. Service was the worst I've ever seen. No one came after 20 minutes, had to do to the bar to order. Only other visit from waiter was one I had to flag down. Do not come here.

What a bunch of crooks. Check your bill before paying. After adding 20% to the bill without my consent (illegally), they tried to charge me an additional 5% for using credit card, and tips. Very unpleased experience. I took a picture of their bill and planning to send to Profeco (Procuraduría Federal del Consumidor). Let the heroes be known!

I took the snorkel tour with Chichos was good idea. When we reserve the tour I never been advice about the fee to use parking lot. To use the restroom and the shower have a fee also. The tour guys was helpful and kind.

Excellent service i pay 100 pesos for parking and for consuming i got two lounge chairs righ on the beach.

DONT PAY WHAT THEY ARE ASKING FOR! They try too scam you. They tried to scam every single customer when we've been there (by adding some extra money to the bill for various reasons - like taxes, fake happy hour, tip,....). Just get very loud and clear that this is not the amount you owe them and they will charge you the real amount.

They charge you for a tip of 15% without any permission and it doesn’t show on the bill.. Weird and rude way of treating customers. When confronting the waiter about it, they just laugh. Unfortunate that a nice day at the beach has to end like this. Food is pretty decent, but would like to advise everyone to avoid this place. Otherwise please check the bill because they will steal your money

Be careful with their bills. Either their calculators are faulty or they are just trying to scam you in your faces. Now i read in other reviews that we weren't the only ones with this kind of experience. They don't show any split of costs and just give the whole amount you need to pay. Turns out they add the tip (15%) without asking you. And added another 5% for paying by card. Even then the costs didn't add up. Saved myself 200 pesos. Now I regret paying that tip to the cheats. The cocktails tasted alright but didn't seem to have much alcohol in them. Won't be surprised if they are charging you for cocktails and not putting any alcohol at all. The only good part is that it is on the beach and isn't that expensive. If you'd like to go there, just be careful with how they calculate their bills.
