Horrible customer service. Booked the room an hour before arriving at the hotel. Room listing said it was "Executive Double Room" and instead it was a tiny single room. We explained that their listing said it's a double room and they said that means double bed. Asked to upgrade the room and they said they were booked so we just asked for a refund because the room was not as advertised. They said they wouldn't refund the room because the they can't cancel the reservation on the same day of the booking. On top of that they charged me extra saying they had to charge more because we had three people even though when I booked the room I said there was three adults. We ended up leaving the hotel without a refund and stayed somewhere else that advertises there rooms correctly.

Not recommended. I would say that this place is run by penny pinchers. For example just 1 tiny shampoo bottle for 2 people for 2 nights. Fridge and microwave worked but not so much as a plate or spoon to use. The aircon was noisy and dripped on to my head at night. So, 3 stars max I'm afraid.

Booked a king room for romantic weekend. Since I was traveling, I locked my credit card. They called when we were 23 minutes away and said card declined. We explained that we were almost there and I had to have wifi to unlock the card for the charge. The front desk person said no problem. We arrived 20 minutes later and they had canceled our reservation even though we had already spoken to them. Then they rented out our room to someone else, leaving us stranded in Progreso trying to find another room.

Beautiful...festive...be aware of the guys with the blue uniforms they work for the resturants and to sit under the umbrellas...Tiki huts and lounge chairs are extra. Oh and make sure you have cash because they charge for everything including the bathrooms

Booked an over priced “deluxe executive suite” room 8, knowing it was not an ocean view. Turned out to be a windowless (to the outside) tiny closet sized room. Had one window that faced the noisy hallway. Couldn’t get our money back. Went along the strip and secured a beautiful large ocean view suite at Dominas just a few minute walk away. We did not check out of Linda’s since we had paid for it and it came in handy when one of our people became sick at night, so he went back to Linda’s around midnight since we still had the key and he stayed there for 8 hours while sick. Do not book here if it’s not an ocean view. This particular room should not be rented out, worse than any hostel I’ve been in.

Extremely clean, central, 20m from the beach. The staff is wonderful. Close to restaurants and local stores. I stayed in a room with only a "hallway window" - which is basic but excellent for the price. The balcony rooms are extremely nice. Fast Wi-Fi ;) +1

We had one of the best rooms (201). It is just across the beach with only a pedestrian street (boulevard touristico) between the sea and the hotel. Everything is beyond our expectations, the service, the pleasant and discreet staff, the cleanliness... We recommend it without hesitation and we will be back.

We had a terrible experience with this hotel. 1st we booked ocean view only to get partial view. We let that slide, then floor in your room was dirty, we let that slide, then our A/C wasn't working. We told the front desk employee and she gave us this look as if saying how dare us complain. She finally said she would have someone look at it. We left the room for 2 hours came back and no one even bother to look at the A/C. New shift came in so we explained what had happened. He did go to our room and determined the remote for the AC was malfunctioning and told us technician will be there at 8:30 am next day. Next day, 8:30 comes and go, we go to them reception desk to find the same young lady from previous day. Again give us attitude and tell us technician will be there around 10 am. We leave to go for and for a walk on the beach. Come back 2 hours later no technician. At this point I told my husband let check out is time to leave. Not once did these people apologize or made any attempt to resolve the issue. We even asked to be moved to another room and was told there are not rooms but they kept giving rooms to walk-ins. Save yourselves the headache and find a different hotel. Oh, and another thing, they don't have hot water. Luke warm at best.
