★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely beach with lots of reasonably priced restaurants. Boat tours of the delta also depart from this area if your interested. A lot more private and less crowded than the more well known beaches in quintana roo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We met Luis Mendoza at Playa Norte at a little after 8am for a boat tour that took us down the beach to an old coconut oil and salt manufacturing site, a viewing location for checking out hundreds of flamingos, a brief side trip down a stream into the mangrove jungle, and a stop at a swimming hole adjacent to the mangroves in the gulf. It was well worth the 2+ hours and Luis was a great guide.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not so clean water but full of shells! Bars with good sea food dishes around.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice and quiet beach, fine sand, many beautiful shells, no sea grass and light blue water.
On the beach there is also a provider for a flamingo and mangrove tour.
In the evening then a beautiful sunset, which was rounded off by a dolphin swimming past and a flying flamingo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice beach with a few restaurants. Mist people do not come here for the beaches but for a boattrip to the flamingos. All the boats do exactly te same tour, so yiu can search for the cheapest boat. We payed 400 pesos pp with a boat on the beach, but in the town there was a boat for 350 pesos.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome beach, not too crowded. We found some big cool sea shells. Small town. Not too much to do besides hang out at the beach.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would say the beach is not ideal for swimming... quite ruff, and windy when we came. Water is murky.
However there are a few solid restaurants along the beach, and a few more local ones closer to the Centro that have fried fish at around 130 pesos
