I wasn’t so lucky in finding what I wanted, I thought there would be a papelería but the librería wasn’t that.
But the casas de cambio were open on Monday so that went well
All in all it’s a nice mall and very convenient from the hotel I was at

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been coming to Plaza del Sol for years! It’s always fun to walk around and shop at all the stores when you’re in Guadalajara. There are money change businesses here for travelers. Nice relaxing time to be had here.

Lots of fantastic places to get some shopping and fun!
I think you might have fun, although it is open so you might not want to go when rainy or in a very sunny day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Plaza del sol is one of the oldest shopping complex in Guadalajara. It is also a well known land mark. It has food plaza, cloth stores, casino, cafe and super markets. Apart from that it is pet friendly. It has one pet supply store as well and most of the Forieners living in neighborhood prefer plaza del sol for walk and make currency exchange.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A shopping center like any other. It has an open space and there are stores everywhere. I went to have lunch at a nice restaurant and found it to be a good place to have lunch. But prior to heading there I took the bus transportation system. It was an interesting experience.
Overall all I had a good time visiting Plaza del Sol and will visit again if I have time.
