Positive: Staff friendly,cafe,mexican feel staff seemed to care more than owner. Negative: No hot water,broken fixtures owner seemed like she just didn't care.

I would say it’s just ok. Don’t come when it’s really hot or you will roast. About half the appliances actually work in the villa. Everything is a little over priced. From 850-1000. We stayed because I was tired of looking for places that accept dogs. Cash only.

This is the worst place I have ever stayed at. Our fridge broke 3 times in 12 days. We lost a lot of food The 3rd time after not being fixed for 3 days we left. Our room was supposed to have a couch. When we arrived the owner promised us we would get one. When we left we still had no couch. We rented a unit with 2 bedrooms so our friends could visit. The screen in the 2nd bedroom had a huge tear in it. The lady that stayed in that unit the previous year said the screen was turn then. We were not able to have our friends stay because it would be too hot to close the windows and the mosquitoes were bad if left open. We had made service 3 x's a week. We watched the maid carry up a bucket of dirty water to our floor every day and carry the same dirty bucket from room to room. This is what our floors were nipped with. The bathroom sink was so filthy you coykd not see yourself in it when we arrived. Our toilet went 2 weeks without being cleaned. The 1 plus was that we had a comfy queen pillow top mattress. I would not recommend this place to anyone. When we moved we found a unit 1 1/2 blocks away that was very nice and clean. It also had a beautiful pool to swim in. It cost less per night to stay in. Do Not stay in this place.

Beautiful place, nice clean rooms. Wifi was a bit spotty, but I was on the 4th floor. In the lobby, it was fine. Small restaurant with a nice espresso maker. Close to the beach. Would definitely go back, if I was on the area, again.

Positive: The lady named Claudia, best thing about this place, she tried her best even though she spoke very little English. She was a jack of all trades. Coffee was excellent. Negative: No hot water for the entire week, no sweeping or changing towels , had to buy my own toilet paper. Was told there was no kitchenettes available but people who booked after me got kitchenettes, although they did give up breakfast and lunch. Use of the air conditioner was an extra cost.Rooms not true to pictures..

Positive: The only things I liked about this property is the theme.. Negative: There’s was no WiFi, no AC, the hotel was far from the beach like a 10 minute walk and in the pictures it shows that it’s in front of the beach. The rooms that are shown in the pictures is not what it looks like in person. Also it’s very expensive and it’s not worth the money..

Positive: Old Mexican charm . Rooms were a good size. This could be a really cute Mexican Villa . Great coffee shop. Food needs to be kept in air and big tight containers.. Negative: The whole place could use a cleaning from top to bottom. Toilets bathroom tiles etc. Need to be clean when you check in. Bought my own cleaning supplies to clean. Bugs on the counters the whole two weeks getting into food. Just mopping the floor and wiping the counters isn’t enough in a pet friendly hotel. Mops and cleaning solution gallons should never be left out in the front lobby. First impressions are everything . Bare wires hanging in the front lobby should either be cut off if not in use or hidden . Staff could use more direction by the owner. Really nice lady but leaves to much to the staff..

This place is paradise! Walking distance from the beach. Super clean! The shower has great water pressure and gets nice and hot. There are tons of book shelves filled with English and Spanish (and a few other language) books. The coffee is incredible! They roast their own coffee beans in house! I've extended my stay twice now... this place is amazing. The manager, Claudia is super nice and attentive and understands my bad Spanish. ? Oh. There's also an AC and a big fan - lots of comfortable options.
