I had the greatest time with Rodrigo. As a solo freediver and first time in Mexico, I was a bit nervous, but he made me relax and just enjoy. He also gave me a few pointers after each time i went down. He really went above and beyond to take the best shots during the photoshoot session. I highly recommend Pranamaya freediving if you are interested in learning diving or any excursions in Playa! I will definitely come back here!??

I came into PranaMaya Freediving School with zero experience, full of doubt, hesitation & very intimidated but I completed my first course AIDA 2 happily with a very sublime learning experience. The classroom & pool setting is relaxed and the chosen Cenotes are epic in its own ways. The instructors Syria and Rodrigo are very supportive, clear, who make you feel comfortable and at the same time, pushes you in a balanced way to what (you may even be unaware of) you are capable of doing. Rodrigo knows exactly what each student needs to hear and do to progress that a few words before a dive completely changed my mindset each time. I said once to Rodrigo on the last day of the course when I struggled in getting past 5 meters, "I trust you more than I trust my mind". :D Sure enough, I finally reached 12 meters. Julien is accommodating, organized and promptly responds to questions about courses and any fun freediving excursions. Peter is friendly and was helpful with my new gear. I look forward to having some fun freedives as well with all of them, as I am sure I will always learn something new from each of them. Also, the school's equipment provided are of good quality. Highly recommended school, instructors, and location! Thank you!

Best experience ever at Pranamaya ! Diving in a cenote is breathtaking. I was not sure that the practice of freediving could work for me, as I am afraid of depths (yeah yeah) but the team was so professional, fun and caring that not only did I enjoyed the Aida 2 course but that I can't stop recommending it to every single person I meet and even consider to take to the next level. Syria, Julien and the whole team : you guys just rock - thx tons

I love diving with Pranamaya for so many reasons! Julien, Rodrigo and Peter are all excellent guides that make you feel comfortable while also pushing you to advance your diving. I have only had excellent experiences with Pranamaya and I will return to learn more. The cenotes are beautiful, but what makes the diving special is learning about the history of each cenote and being able to train in them with friendly, experienced guides. Thank you Pranamaya for an awesome week! EDIT: 4/2/22 I returned to Pranamaya for a week to learn more and explore the cenotes. I had the absolute best time and learned so much about freediving. Julien is an amazing guide and takes the time to make you comfortable and teach about each specific cenote. I already can't wait to come back. Thank you again, Julien!

Came to improve upon my freediving technique and explore the cenotes - Julien and his team are dedicated to a great diving experience. I initially booked 1 training and a photo session, but extended my stay for 2 extra dives, one of which was pretty last minute to Cozumel to one of the wrecks and it was amazing Safety and technique def. on point, going to come back for more dives and exploration

We had 2 awesome days with Rodrigo! The stretches were excellent, the dives were relaxed, it was a great day! I enjoyed learning from Rodrigo, he gave me valuable feedback and tips that helped me be more efficient and comfortable in the water! Also enjoyed the Pranamaya location and merch! Staff is very nice and welcoming! ? Can’t wait to do this all over again! ??✨
