Disgusting service - charged us for things not applicable and the car was filthy when given to us AVOID

WARNING PLEASE NEVER, I underline PLEASE NEVER rent a car at this company. I never write opinions at google, this is just to worn you. Reasons below: 1. I had a verbal and written deal (separately) that for the same price I can return the car early in the morning, as I was not able to return it in the evening. The guy at the office confirmed it couple times, we had also notes for this agreement -he informed that we has to put the data as the system says, but I can return as agreed. Once I returned the car (I was waiting for the opening of the office), the guy pretended he doesn't remember anything and they wanted me to pay for one day extra! discussion with the manager also didn't help. This was pure LIE and it was done per purpose. They didn't want to return the deposit until I pay this one day extra. 2. Car conditions are really poor - I was not even able to start the car from their office because of the old battery - I had to call them to come and help (the next day we wanted to go for 400km long trip) - they didn't want to change the car, they were laughing, instead I had the choice - to take a STARTIN CABLES from them just in case, or to not go! 3. At the end somebody put at my credit card another deposit and I lost 7000 pesos / 350 USD ! Accident? I don't think so. I used to rent a lot of cars in different countries, also in MX, but this was the only situation I was LIED and ROBBED this way!

Almost everything went well, Alexander was fair and straightforward about the contract and the previous scratches on the car when I picked the car up. When I returned the car a different guy told me I needed to pay for gas. First, it was $300 pesos then moments later it was $220 pesos, which tells me its not legitimate. I told him dont charge my card ill pay in cash and it looks like there is a $7 dollar charge too. I specifically returned the car at the same amount of gas to avoid this.

Great service! Everything went well. They didn’t blocked 800 dollars like the others. For us with a debit card it was easier to handle. The car was empty of gas when we rent it. But it was okay. The gas station is next to it. Thanks for everything. Will recommend you to others for sure!

I had such a great experience renting from Price Car Rentals. I initially tried to go with a global, well-recognised rental company just across the road which was TERRIBLE and quickly cancelled my booking. I must admit that the reviews made me a bit nervous but I was greeted by Francisco, in a positive and very friendly way my fears were put to bed. He was extremely helpful and explained the process really well. The price was extremely competitive and I was given a Chevrolet which was in great condition. The car got us to Chichen Itza and back in comfort. The hand in process was also very easy and both Alexander + Francisco made it super quick. All in all it took just 5 minutes to get the all clear and we were back on our travels. I would thoroughly recommend Price to other travellers who might be nervous about renting abroad!
